Friend was in Huntsville at Spacecamp for the week before Easter. He went to Gander Mountain and found no ammo and no mags. Plenty of nice guns.

Good Luck,
Criss

I'll be in Anniston. Unfortunately I'll be in a class all day every day. The CMP store is there but they close at 3 so I won't be able to make it. I'm hoping Walmart will be better there and hit as many gun shops as I can.

OK - if you fly all the way to a free state like AL, and ONLY play with .22 "toys" don't bother coming home. We expect plenty of pics with you blasting away with REAL HK's and other "GOOD STUFF".

If I was going to Anniston CMP would be the first place I'd go. I think you have to have a "fever" one day.......

Haha I wish. I'm flying on FEMA's dime and going to their training facility so I'm stuck in class. The good thing is the campus has a bar with dollar beers and three dollar pitchers. And some unreal BBQ.

Goodluck! I went on a road trip to Texas last month.
No luck in any state along the way.
Hit many Walmarts, all empty cept obscure hunting calibers just like here.
Hit many Mom and Pop shops empty except 60 buck 50rd boxes of 9mm..
Hit Academy Sports, Cabelas, BassPro, hunting calibers but no "sport/target/defense" calibers

There is a great surplus store a few hundred yds. from the main gate, worth checking out.

So far it's a bust. Walmart had nothing. Literally. Empty shelves. Where is the surplus store? Is it the pawn shop?

The CMP store's out of everything too, so it's a moot point.
