I would never expect a retailer to sell merchandise for less than its worth, i dont understand why anyone does.....

I think Obammer should offer Obamaguns to those who can't afford them. Of course, they would have to be loaded with Obammo. It's not fair that the rich are the only ones who can afford guns and ammo.
Reloading is not for everyone.

The gun dealers need to sell at higher prices to cover overhead if they can't get a steady supply of inventory to sell at a lower margin. This is what happen to a good LGS that closed up shop cause they could not get inventory. As far as big store chains go, the distributors know that the supply cannot be kept up with demand. So they sell to the highest bidder, and the big chains pass along that cost to the consumers. The manufacturers aren't stupid, they aren't going to invest into new equipment to meet the demand which they think is temporary. The only way for prices to come back down is if the consumer slow down the demand. Or the manufacturer decides to increase capacity meet the demand.

The best advice is if you see something that you feel is over priced, then give it pass. If you think it's a good deal, then buy it. I do agree though that those who are taking advantage of any situation should not be rewarded with future business once things return to normal.

Same crap that's been posted a thousand times on every gun board.

If you're tired of the prices, stop buying ammo, tell everyone you know to stop also. Who's the fool, you for paying $70 for a brick of .22 or the person selling it?

STOP buying ammo or stop complaining! It's that simple.
