Default Help identifying a red dot optic.

I picked up an AR-15 from a buddy of mine. It came with a EOTech knock off style site. It's a switchable red dot / green dot. CR123 battery.

The only identifying mark on it is an eagle on one side with the letters SE in the middle.

I've googled everything I can think of and can't find anything.

Any thoughts from anyone?

Thanks.

Careful with these knockoff Eotech's. I had one and it only lasted through one weekend of shooting, damn thing started rattling inside and stopped working.

Yeah, I got a knockoff eotech (IJK optic) that wont stay zeroed in. After responses from here, sounds like my problem was it was made for air powered rifles so the recoil may be messing mine up.

That's pretty much my assumption. I'll try it on an AR, if it doesn't work, I'll put it on a 22.

Airsoft clone probably. Not even good enough quality for a decent 22. And if you try it on an AR and break it.... there's no hope for it to work on a 22 either.

Do understand however, that optics designed for air rifles (which you mentioned)-- (pellet guns) are some of the toughest optics out there.

Seriously.

This blah blah blah scope survived 1000 rounds on a 50 bmg! It's tough as nails!

Put it on a "spring gun" pellet rifle... Theres a good chance you'll break it in a few hundred shots.... Seriously. A "spring gun" has a reverse recoil from the spring. Scopes arent normally designed to handle that....

But.... it looks like cheap clone airsoft toy.
