I'll be there on Sunday. Got to shoot the S&W 500 last year , that was fun. Didn't get to the H&K booth last time so I'm looking forward to that.

Went out there this morning and had a great time. Took my son with me and we shot the 50 cal Boys Anti-Tank Rifle. It was cool, but not cheap ($15 a round). Got to shoot a Springfield Trophy Match 1911. I think the most entertaining was shooting the robot that is advancing on you. They put a tee shirt on the target and have it come at you while you dump 10 rounds into it. You get to keep the aerated shirt when your done. The only bad part about shooting the robot was having to use a Glock.

We got there about 9:45 and, although there were a lot of people, the lines at the booths were not bad. By the time we left an hour and half later, the lines at the booths were getting pretty long and there was a steady line of cars coming into the parking lot. I am glad we got there early!

Find the Nemo booth. They have a sporting gun that shoots 300win mag. Interesting to shoot but gonna cost ya 5k to buy.
Too much eye candy... Glad the wife had to work.
They also had a snake avoidance area, assume they teach what it says and may have so e good info.

My sister visited from hawaii, so she is more deprived than us. We went to shoot my guns and turns out there was a fair! Well, i started her on a 10/22 (10 bucks for 10) then a 9mm pistol and 45 pistol. Then we went to the active shoot robot. I loved it. My sis did too. She did so well, foloowed all rules to a t. She is 14. Posting pics too.

Does anyone know if Beretta is demoing any of the tikka T3 rifles at the fair? I'm interested in them but would love the chance to demo it first. Hope someone can let me know before tomorrow!

I shot the Omen. It's a really nice platform. I liked it a lot. I think it recoils about like 223.

I sat and jawjacked with Retired and the guys at the CGN booth for a while. It was fun meeting you guys.

That was a dream shoot. I did a full magazine. Worth every dollar though.

You have to go far in SoCal to shoot one of those, but I'm seriously considering one now after I've shot it a few times.
