I have 3 itrader currently.....probably have over 20+ transactions on here, all positive.

I don't worry about it.

previous hobby forum had 60 itrader with at least double that actual

I think the I trader system is difficult to find personally, I'm a rather techy guy and it was much different than other fourms I have used.. I think I have like 5 "i-trader" but have bought and sold over 15+ weapons over this site .... personally when someone has a good deal that I actually want, I don't actually even look at the I trader

In your search bar copy the link looks like;
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/n...ply&p=11041390

To the OP:

I've had 45+ great transactions with good CGN members and only have 32 ratings. Some will post feedback if you ask them, others just don't. Most of the time it was people who didn't understand the iTrader system. Personally I think the system could be more user friendly for the new members.

better you get no feedback then negative feedback. Also does anyone really actually care about feedback. basically if you buy a item you send money then he send item. If you sell they send money and you send item. If you trade then you both ship and provide tracking. Not seeing how itrader does anything but a warm and fuzzy. I personally dont like it because after a sale or buy its just another pain in the butt thing to do.

So I'm guessing that you can't leave feedback if it was just a private sale between two Calgunners?

Its good to see that the person your dealing with has a positive track record. If I am sending a few hundy to a person I would feel better seeing nothing but good comments positives.

What I'd like to see is this. If somebody doesn't leave any iTrader feedback for you, after you've left feedback for them, after say, a week, you can delete your feedback for them.

They don't deserve the positive feedback if they are a flake. And that is what they are if they don't leave feedback.

I have done deals where I left iTrader and the other party didn't. I wouldn't worry about it unless someone left negative feedback without cause.

Some people dont give itrader even if you gave them one. I usually take my itrader back to them if I dont get one to be fair

These new members don't realize how important a good itrader rating is for future trust and confidence.

Lately since this Gun Frenzy and all our new members, I've had a lot of FLAKEs and DEADBEAT-wanna-be-buyers who make offers and vanish.

This, as Oceanbob said, they just don't know how to do it. I have one still pending, but I think the user doesn't know how to do it. Likewise, the guy was nice so it didn't bother me that he didn't leave it back. Like all here say, it happens.

And I agree , so many deadbeats and flakes here, I'm just using my tough skin that I normally use when I post on craigslist with my other non gun related stuff and applying it here now, sad, but not like it was back before this panic rush... -.-

with all due respect to those that "don't know how to do it"... it's not rocket science - I figured it out (as have boatloads of other users)...

If someone is really lazy or for some reason truly can't figure it out, all they have to do is PM the member that left them one and ask. They always know when they get one.

go to the thread that the sale was posted in... copy the URL (highlight the address in the address bar, right click and hit copy)...

Then find the member that you are leaving iTrader for... click their iTrader number and the page will pop up... it's self explanatory from there (and you will see where to paste the URL you copied).

I dont know if i would fully trust it.I had one guy who i never did business with leave me a neg rating becuase he thought i thread capped his item.I reported it and had it taken care of.But others could judge me off of this???

I have done bus with 3 people on here and all transactions and communication was great. If i di have a bad sale go down i would make a separate topic to let others know.

All the fees one pays for selling something on Calguns, I can see why one would get peeved for lack of Itrader rating.

Yup, pretty normal. I have 49 positive feedbacks, 0 negatives from probably 60 transactions. Just the way it is.

It happens. Although, my experience are with brand new members that are the sellers and not the buyer. The post, sell, then disappear.
