Just my luck, they are back in stock less than 8 hours later...ordered two more for a total of three. Just sucks that I got socked with the extra shipping charges because of seperate orders.

Call in the a.m. and see if they can combine orders. I seems like a simple operation. I received mine by USPS today, delivered in 2 days to SoCal. I was in such a hurry to place my order that I didn't order the covers as I had wanted to. They go too FAST!

The first one was already shipped. Not a big deal for me though, I'm happy enough knowing that I got three at a decent price.

I like the double mag ones better. I think that the tri/quad one's look terrible and are difficult to store in a pocket/pack. The double mags look good and can be stored/packed easily.

I've used the E&L duals and quads for years. I prefer the duals. I bought a couple of Alangator tri mags but haven't tried them yet.
The E&L duals can be carried easier on a belt or fanny pak.

I read the reviews that you have to glue the mag in order to use the dual mag holder. If that, I think you can DYI one. Why waste money. I like the idea of dual mag than tri/quad.

LOL, yep. Only trained LEO can be trusted with 25 round .22lr magazines! Everyone else has to reload while the tin cans can make a break for it.

I bought a couple 77/22 mags on ebay for $23 ea plus free shipping last week. This person has a few for $25.88 with free shipping. They're supposed to work in the 10/22.

Hawktech Arms has a few Clear 10 rounders and Black 10 rounders left. I resisted the temptation to order all the Clear ones, so others could have some.

5x Clear, and 24x Black as of this posting.

I've never glued an E&L dual over the past 8yrs. I think that recommendation is CYA inspired. However snapping 2 mags on to a dual will strain more than your milk!

I just bit the bullet and bought a handful on ebay for about 30 bucks each shipped. It's more than I like but my wife finally (after 18 years together) is showing an interest in shooting. If it makes her happy and gets her shooting I'll pay 100 bucks a piece!!!

From what I have read 77/22 Ruger P/N 90057 will work in the 10/22. Has anyone used them?

A friend has a 77/22 and a 10/22. He got the mags mixed up. I believe they worked but would produce some failure to feeds. Seems like the 77/22 mags didn't like the 1022. Sorry I can't do more on this.

I have two sets of Tri-mags, they function well but are rough on the shoulder while carrying military sentinel style.

I wanted clear BX-1s just for looks and ended up buying 3 of them off eBay for $37. Also decided to get 2 more black BX-1s to go with the one that came with my Takedown. Using Alangator Trimag couplers to hold them together since I'm only shooting at the range and I like that it kinda doubles as a rest. In fact, I had ordered my Alangators from Ruger's site first but didn't realize they were out of stock so I sent an email to cancel the order (what website doesn't have a built in 'cancel order' button somewhere on their site these days? ) then put in an order with Midway. Apparently, Ruger doesn't check their email because even though I got my order from Midway, they're still sending me what I ordered from them soooo...anyone want to buy this extra pair of Alangators off me?
