Default Cutting 870 stock down to a birdshead grip

I did a search and asked a few local gunsmiths but nothing has panned out so far.

I don't have the tools nor the experience to cut an 870 stock down to a birdshead grip.

Does anyone know of a reputable shop/person around Southern California (mostly Inland Empire, L.A., Orange County, etc.) that can get this done?

Can't you just buy one and not ruin your OEM one?

That would be ideal wouldn't it?

Problem is no one makes them, which is the purpose for this thread.

Ah, then you might want to talk to nicoman or stf and see if they would be willing to sell their time. Seems he did it himself http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=630148.
