First handgun I ever bought. Got it back in the late 90s at the old S.F. Gun Exchange...

Have a massive amount of ammo run through it over the years. Definately one I trust my life with.

How does the plastic end cap holding up on your 53? I was told to use metal end cap. Thanks

Nice.. I like them and the 45 usp compact.

Some guy on Gunbroker was selling 2 Hk .357 Sigs for $2600. lol Crazy. I think there were like 4000 made before Hk stopped making them one at a time. Now LE can get them in blocks of 500 or 1000 pieces….

Hi everyone ,newbie question here but I just picked up my first H&K USP compact in 9mm. Quick questions for you guys...I haven't fired it yet as it is brand new. Upon fieldstripping it, I notice a good amount of grease/thick lube on the slide itself, ex...slide rails on the side and top part where the barrel would rest. My question is.......should I wipe off the factory lube/grease before firing? I not too sure if they used so much for storage or should it be left alone or wiped down a bit before firing. Thanks everyone!!

Just ordered a P30L, anyone know a good source for 10 rd mags? HKparts.net wants $70...
Or a place that sells blocks? I can have them shipped to my parents in washington and have my dad block them.
ETA, found the blocks at magazineblock.com, would still like to find a decently priced 10rd mag

No they don't, and they want way, way too much for them. I really don't understand why some people keep paying these crazy prices on HK mags. I ordered 5 15 round mags for my P30 from HK directly. They were $34 each before shipping.

Call HK in Columbus, and say you want to buy mags for your pistol. They will transfer you to the correct line. You will save money.

I never asked, but I'm assuming since they make and sell mags for all of their guns, the answer would be yes. They are open right now, give them a call. (706) 568-1906

This thread is making me drool. I've always been a Glock guy but a buddy of mine has a USP 45C and I love the look of that thing. Looking to pick one up here shortly. Then I will probably be way in love.
