does anyone know if I can get this lower and make an AR pistol with it? Or do I have to get a AR pistol lower to make one?

Ordered one of the Palmettos a few days ago. I was about to buy their last LMT complete lower, they wanted $599.99, all of a sudden I heard something like "3000 stripped lowers next week" and so did my wife. Glad we heard that, I'll have more money to put toward the rest of the gun. Bought a LPK the other day as well. Midway still has some ready to ship. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/877...arts-kit-ar-15

Called Turner's today and they said they aren't expecting them until next week or the week after.

FV Turner's 12-24 @ 3PM there was essentially no wait.
The PSA lowers are now $129 with a limit of 2. The OTD for 2 is $310.

I put a down payment on them today but didn't start the DROS. Hopefully a long gun that I want will go on sale (and be in stock) in the next few weeks and I will DROS them all together.

sounds like you can use it with an ar pistol upper based on this thread:

short answer is, NO you can't use this lower to make an AR pistol with it.

longer answer, due to the handgun roster, that lower has to be DROSed as a "long gun" and CADOJ could consider you building a pistol from it to be making an illegal short barreled rifle.

that only deals with federal law, not CA law.

do not use a "long gun" DROSed lower to make a pistol unless you personally have the $$$$$ to fight a felony charge and are willing to go to prison and lose your gun rights if you lose.

Just walked out of Torrance Turner's: Not taking anymore deposits on these lowers. Also the salesman said they are out of pretty much everything AR parts related.

I bought a PSA lower today at the West Co store. While placing my order I asked whats the certainty of actually getting it. I was told "your in! The only think stopping you is the background check, the world ending, or if they don't deliver." They won't even get unwrapped, they'll send them to the stores once they hit the warehouse. The limit is two as of today at closing.

Just ordered two at the Oxnard store. They told me they'd call me when they are ready to process the DROS... According to the nice gal that helped us today there are only about 300 people ahead of us.

This is a good deal considering Ammobros were selling lowers for like $300 last week.

Built lowers maybe, not stripped lowers.

$300 for a stripped lower is ridiculous price gouging.

I was told we should have received a call this week, now the week is over. Why can't they get an eta of when these will arrive at the warehouse? Shouldn't have these shipped already being that PSA had some for sale on their website this week? I would assume the ones they had for sale were from the same run that are being shipped to Turners.

I was told today that the shipment would be hitting Turners today or tomorrow. The DROS will be handled 1st in 1st out so you should be in good shape.

Yeah I stopped by Ammo Bros today an they are charging $299 for stripped lowers! Their price gouging is ridiculous, I asked an employee if he could sell it at the old retail price or match the price of another shop and he pretty much laughed at me and replied "it is what it is due to the high demand on them". And soo I wont be going back there anytime soon.

or, they could have left them at the old retail price and they'd have all been snapped up already by the so-called "hoarders" and you wouldn't have even had the opportunity to buy one. but at $299, the speculators didn't clean them out and as a result, AB still has some for sale if you really want one.

This, wonder how long these lowers are going to be waiting for LPK and the rest of the components needed to finish the build. How many will be flipped?

They were still taking deposits at the Downey store today. No idea how many they have left.

The SKS rifles were dwindling too. They didn't expect the stock to last past today.

I called Turner's Pasadena about an hour ago and they haven't gotten any and don't have an ETA. By the way, today is the last day for PSA pre-orders at Pasadena.

Just left the store off Willow. Guy said the lowers have been shipped, and they expect to receive them early next week, and they will start going down the list. Today was the last day they said they would take orders, and as he was saying that I overheard a guy ask for the $99 dollar PSA lower that is advertised??WTF?? The guy behind the counter said, "sure"??? Turns out each store was allowed to sell 10 lowers at 99 bucks, to my luck he took the last one! So now it's just a waiting game, ill post as soon as I receive the call! My guess is they will still have extras even after they fulfill the waiting list, seems to be pretty unorganized as two employees where arguing over if they can still take orders or not.

They been saying next week since 12/20 still no lowers!

I ordered a Del Ton Echo 316 MOE rifle on Black Friday first day the sale started and I still haven't gotten a call that rifle has arrived for a serial # over a month

on November 23-24 when the fall flyer was released I went and put a deposit on the Del ton echo 316 MOE DE 223/556 ar rifle and over a month still no del ton shipment. I ordered the Psa lower last week he said Thursday they would have the 3000k lowers and still no lowers! So if there is a new law gonna be passed I wouldn't be surprised we get screwed because of the company's taking forever to make the product. I'm praying nothing gets passed

I'm pretty tempted to go to Sd and get a JD lower
