I ordered a jig back in September while gb1 was still organizing. You'd think I'd have it by now. In October I emailed Jeremy to complain, and he told me It would ship out in a week. I'm no mathematician but its been more than a week.
Now they don't even respond to email. Or phone for that matter if I lived on the west coast I'd be at their shop like every other day. Mind you I'm just talking about the jig!! WTF!!!!!

What's really killing me is that this was my first gb....Never again! On top of that to add insult to injury. The guy who's selling them on GB has a web site where he post a youtube video. There he states when HE expects another shipment from them check it out here.

What I do know is if these guys change their company name before I get my sh*t I'm buying a plane ticket!

You just have to make sure you cut the seat and also cut the rails back the same. The dust cover is optional

The only name change that's coming is that to "CalGuns Co-op" after we as a group sue their asses and take their sh*t as collateral.

From the looks of it I can pretty much assume that this guys website and sales are mainly from ARES. He is also selling Gen 1 of the Rudius. Or group buy will be getting(from the sounds of it) generation 2 grips. That is what we are supposedly waiting for. The guy in the video said straight up they only have 40 left. I am assuming that he probably purchased 100 of them for his business it sell.

If he got his money in prior to Group buy 1 then he got all his before them. I am sure he paid all of his before group buy 2 got ours in.

Hey Fifer, did you make a copy of the check or get a receipt from Ares for all the orders placed?

I think it time to give Ares an ultimatum. Either give the merchandise we paid for, refund or we have no choice than legal action.

They still haven't delivered GB #1. We still can't get information from them about this one.

Sorry, I wasn't asking for you to provide status on GB1. I was wondering if GB2 had been fed the same lines we've been hearing.

I see other people on the web who have received frames and jigs and have actually completed their firearms. Yet we were told a batch of paperweights was made wrong, the grips don't work and jigs are unavailable.

Can we get the metal portion now then? Or is it wiser to wait? I've never been too good at waiting...

That's awesome! So since they are paid for, how about getting us the metal portions now! I will even offer to pick them up & bring them to you OR pick you up & take you to Ares to pick them up OR pick them up & bring them to a common meeting place of your choice. I am 40 min from Ares & would be more then happy to do any or all of the above.

Thank you, G.

No, because logistically its easier to wait. Sorry g. I have to ship 56 boxes so i need to get everything. Plus, jigs arent ready. And alot of calgunners requested to have the ftf on the day of a build party. According to ares it might be next month they start again.

What is unwise about receiving something that you have already paid for?

I can understand for those that need to be shipped, I don't need mine shipped. So can I get mine then? Make a phone call to Ares or ill come pick you up. If they say the metal parts are ready now, please tell me whatever I can do to get at least part of what I have already paid for. And as far as a build party, they better have the program sorted out so nobody else's paperweight gets butchered like my first one.

I will be curious to see if Ares delivers your group buy frames at all before group buy 1 is complete.

Keeping an eye - good luck, guys.

It could cause confusion with who already got what and still needs that. I could envision it happening, which in my experience means it probably would. I'm just as anxious as you to get my stuff, I have never delayed gratification this long after putting up money for something. But I'm really trying to take deep breaths and keep my attention focused elsewhere, because there are other people on top of it. Argh!

I picked up a casting from that Caspian guy, at the very least ill have a slight idea of what to expect from a 1911 project before touching a rudius frame. Also Sold my 22 rifle upper and working on a 22 pistol upper for my new AR lower. Needless to say I'm staying busy...

Thanks again for putting this together, I am sure it will get worked out, stay in contact with them and let us know how things are looking. They are losing potential monies from clients because of this and while we don't make up a huge amount of the revenue they potentially make, we do have a solid voice in our own future purchases.

Default Really wasnt your fault mate

I think you have done a great job of keeping us informed through this ordeal.

this has definitely made me wary of buying stuff that hasn't hit the market yet but I would get into another group buy no problem.

I think that we can all agree that everything that has irritated us about this GB has been out of our control. Not that that makes it ok Ares

but thanks for keeping a lot of impatient people (myself included!) well informed fiferronald

You are actually doing very well so far. Many group buys end up in a very bad place.

You are doing this right brother. Keep up the good work. GB on CG lately people expect to pay for it and get it right then. I understand this GB has lasted longer than expected but it has nothing to do with your part.

Don't get discouraged and keep up the good work. Let me know when the FTF is!

You're doing well with this group buy. The delay and lack of information is out of your hands. You are staying on top of this thread, and that is what is most important in a situation like this. Don't leave the members hanging like the other GB did. Poor communication is where the issues arise.

Keep up the good work.
