Default Coach gun

Hello Michael,
Here's a little back story, Someone tried to break into my mom's apartment while she was at work, the dead bolt held so they didn't get in. Guess who wants a shotgun. I offered her one of mine, She really wants a "coach gun,"......She gave me her Rossi 12 gauge Coach gun years ago so I offered it back to her but she said "no, she wants her own." So....What would you recommend? Is there anything out today that has the quality of the old Rossi (from the '80's) but isn't real expensive? If you could recommend a couple 12 and/or 20 gauge it would really be appreciated. 18 inch barrel would be great.
Thanks.

Why a coach gun. Grab her a pump and call it a day. Lots easier IMO.

I would agree, but that's not what she wants. I offered her any one of mine too.....she's stubborn......like her son.
