PhysicsAngel and I am are sadly not going make it out this year.
To make it a tradition she is sick again this year and we have decided not to try to push thru it like we tried last year.
Have fun and be safe!

Read the directions in the first three posts, and just show up! Oh and once you show up, make sure to have a good time! That's pretty much all there is to it!

Posting from the Del Taco in Barstow, really nice weather.

I have reports of at least 14 easy ups already forming the line.

I ask them to reserve the spot for the command center, same place as last year Sean?

I'll be here tomorrow morning around 0730 to escort members to shoot location.

After waiting all day to hear back from a prospective employer, and waiting for evening traffic to die down, I finally couldn't stand it and decided to come. Still unsure if I should leave tonight as in right now or just get up in 6 hrs. Would've liked to have been there already.

Man oh man...what a looong day!

Guns, food, drinks, ammo....packed.

I'm on waay too little sleep. I'm bringing my tent opposed to the easy up this year. Maybe I can catch some Zzzzzz's while the blasting is going on, so I am fresh for....

MOSIN MADNESS!

Alarm is set for 4am....should be on the road by 5ish after a long shower, coffee and bacon. I will see you guys on the firing line, by 7 am.

One of these years I am going to have to get there early Friday, and stay until Sunday.

Well.....this sucks, but I ain't going to make it this year.
I had a suspicion that schedules might collide, and they did.
Had a couple brand spankin new guns I was going to bring out too.
My appologies to anybody who wanted to shoot the Barrett.
Stay safe and have fun.

The wind is horrible but I guess you know that by now.

Ugh.... wind completely ruined the trip. Eyes are burning, guns looks like they went through operation desert storm, everyone's targets are destroyed. Overall just a bad trip.

Sorry, not to be a downer. Just really disappointed.

Oddly enough Friday night was great just not Saturday.

Well fellas, we tried. After potluck my group voted on leaving early when we heard report that wind gusts would increase through the night. Packed up and got the hell out of dodge.

This zombie shoot will be rememered as "operation desert storm", like tempdrummer said.

Always fun when I get to shoot. Now to clean about 5 pounds of dust and sand out of my guns....

All the tent was taken down.

Our tent still standing

My son getting ready
just got home, my target wouldn't stand up against that wind, had fun even with the wind howling. See you guys again next year. The Zombies won this time.
