It's a front sight post- that upper comes with match iron sights (not currently installed). There's an adjustable gas block which looks identical hidden under the free float tube.

heh heh- this is one of the few times it's better to be older (18+ in 2000). My only regret is being too young to miss out on all the good deals in times of lore, like back in 1989!

I know I'm supposed to "fear the man with only one gun," but I think I'm more afraid of Brass Balls - what a collection.

As a training exercise, let's find all of BB's 1911s that are cocked and locked.

I guess it takes Brass Balls to own a handgun collection that large.

The Delta is one of my favorites so I decided to keep it stock and bought a Kimber 10MM Eclipse (not pictured) to be a shooter and now just take the Delta out now and again.

Thanks!

Thanks buddy. I love that Python. Although I want you to know it's your fault for putting me on a blued revolver binge. With the 57 and 29 coming home with me today they're going to start competing with my 1911 collection.

Thanks Turby! I'd really like to get back to the camera for some revolver photos, but I've been slammed with work lately.

Nice collection.

But I think you would have what the media would call an arsenal, in fact they would say you have enough for thirteen arsenals and enough to arm every school child in elementary school in Washignton DC

oh I also see one of your 1911's is lonely and without a mate, any plans to find it a mate, maybe a russian bride like a Makarov since it appears you don't have one of those yet!

Sig 229, nothing fancy. Plus 165 gr Winchester Silvertips.

Little heavy on the CLP, you can see it weeping out on the finish.

Thanks,
One medium softbox above, and one light with a grid off side, to not make it look too flat.

there's so many pretty guns here that i had to bring out my lil' ugly to balance things out a bit.

it's my first semiauto handgun, and my first plastic gun. hasn't failed to go bang yet.

it shoots better than i do. which isn't saying much, since i'm relatively new to handguns in general and semiautos in particular (been a rifle/shotgun guy at the start). at 7 yds i've been able to make a 3.5" hole at center of mass on a silhouette man target, shooting slow and trying to breathe carefully. interestingly enough, when i shoot for his head, i make more of a 6" horizontal line.
