From insanely slow to extremely busy, such is the life of a gunsmith...
Working on a half dozen projects suddenly, will post pictures soon...

Had a client bring me a Colt Commando! Had been sitting under a dryer vent for 60 years, as near as they could tell... It's soaking in oil..
Warning, you may find the following images disturbing...

The latest challenge.. An Astra revolver belonging to clients recently passed Father..
Was at the range with friends, and the friend shot 5 rounds of old ammo and jammed them all right up the barrel
Took it to another person to work on it, they freed up the projectile from the forcing cone/ cylinder, but unfortunately also broke off an easy out in the round protruding from the muzzle...

excuse the cell pic, real pics coming soon...

Had my 10 year old keyboard bite the bucket, took a week to get a replacement with the right connection... I think I need to upgrade soon... lol In the interim it's been a busy shop here... Got the .357 barrel cleared out, fixed an ugly 686 Smith and wesson that needed the internals cleaned up because they were binding together. Dropped the double action trigger pull from a creepy, gritty over 12 pounds to a smooth 10.5 and the single action from an ugly 5 pounds to a crisp 3.5... Here's a picture before I polished everything

Client brought me his Grandfathers 1939 Colt (Navy Commission) and I figured it was worthy of taking a picture with yet another beauty, an Ithaca from 1945
I love my job!

Sweet little sig p238 Liberty Bell edition
Local Officer pushed the ejector forward too far while trying to reassemble after field stripping... I had to almost completely disassemble the firearm to fix the issue
