Sig Sauer 1911 Stainless Railed with some Funky Nugget Micro Red Dot Site and Ed Brown Sloppy Seconds Magwell.

I got a free briefcase at a swap meet and fixed it up for pictures 2 and 3.

Sorry the pics were taken with a tardphone, but a Hasselblad held by Chuck Norris would not be able to connect with the badassery involved with this piece.

Truth.

I don't quite see the tea-cupping except for that still image in which case it was probably from when he was inserting the mag. FTF or mechanical issues in a 1911? it happens.

I have some pricier 1911's, but my Remington R1 is my favorite.

Picked this up over the weekend. It'll need a re-bluing later on but for now I'm going to shoot the crap out of it.

Colt series 70 MKIV

Anyone know why the serial number doesn't pull up on Colt's website?

Just picked it up earlier today. Stainless II with factory night sights, not the Target model on the roster.

Looks like a Para LDA. The Light Double Action trigger feels comparable to a revolver as it's more smooth and constant but it's nothing like a 1911 in feel if that's what you are used to shooting.
