We will start building the stages after the MG practice.

But I will need to know who is coming to help build, as I am bringing food, and need to know how much to bring.

If you can help building stages...lemme know.

Contact me via phone (415 377.8042) so we can keep this thread for MG practice only.

I can use the help for Sundays match!

No multigun practice this month, shooters.

Me and the wifey will be hiking Yosemite this long 4-day weekend.

See y'all in August.

Sorry, shooter...

A friend just passed away, so it will not happen. I will be at his services that Saturday.

But there is A CHANCE that Geoff may coordinate to open the 200-yard line to get your scopes zeroed.

Maybe if you ask him really, really, nice...

But that is a different matter, for a different thread.

As for the practice (again), sorry...its not going to happen.

In Christ: Raymond

I realize BARC just happened but is there a practice this Saturday?

And Raymond, I'm sorry for your loss.

Yuup...we will be having a multigun practice this Saturday.

Lemme figure-out where, as there are a few things happening this weekend.

But dont worry, just look for the Multigun Clan. We will be on one of the bays. I will make it happen somehow.

And, "Thank You". One of the shooters recently lost his father, who was also my friend. We are all pretty close here - so his loss was also our loss. He was a good man/father/husband/shooter. We will miss him dearly. I was honored to have known him.

Oh, wow. Sorry, I'm not around more often. I'm not part of the Richmond core or regulars, but I am well aware of how tight knit you all are. A loss by one is a loss for all. I've never known anyone but good people out of the Richmond Hotshots.

I do not know everyone's Calguns usernames here.

But let me reiterate, you MUST be qualified to practice on the action range, and especially for the multigun practice.

Make sure you are qualified to shoot at our club, or you will be turned away.

See y'all Saturday, bright and early.

Shooters,

there WILL be a multigun practice this coming Saturday, September 6th.

Try to get there early to help set-up, as the extra muscle is always welcome.

See y'all there.

Multigun practice this coming Saturday.

Be there (if you are qualified to shoot), or be square.

If you are interested in practicing, but have never shot a multigun stage/match...I will be teaching a class on the 2nd Saturday of December.

Look for the link.

Once you pass the class, you can shoot pistol/rifle/shotgun at our action ranges.

Hey, shooters...

sorry to say, but I am cancelling the MG practice this Saturday.

I just got my blood drawn this Friday afternoon, and I am totally depleted.

I am also looking at the weather, and it will be raining all night. This means that bay 4 (our bay) will be inundated Saturday morning.

Sorry...but between my weakened state, and the flooded bay, I have to step back away from the MG practice this Saturday.

Next month...Lord, willing!

In Christ: Raymond

Ziggy, I'm not Raymond, but this is the key line from the introductory post to this thread:

"YOU MUST BE CLASSIFIED IN ONE OF THE ACTION SHOOTING DISCIPLINES, OR BE AN ORIENTATION CLASS GRADUATE IN ORDER TO SHOOT...PERIOD. No exceptions!"

There is another thread in this forum about the multigun orientation class, which will be held the following (2nd) weekend of January. You need to contact Raymond by phone if you want to get in on that.

Ziggy,

like LarryMod said, call me.

I am teaching a multigun introductory class on the 2nd Saturday of January.

This class will cover the rules, scoring, and many other topics you will need to know about multigunning...but more importantly, about range safety.

The second part of the class will be the hands-on portion. We will hit the range, and I will see how you handle the long guns in an actual "moving environment".

We cannot let people see 3-gun stuff on television, and thisnk they know what's-up, and start running and gunning with hot firearms in an action range.

NOT ON MY SHIFT.

Anyhoo...click on the LINK HERE to check out the class info.

In Christ: Raymond

If we want to practice for uspsa, we r good to go right? I did the safety class back in March to compete with handguns only. This isn't a 3 gun practice only right?

Yes...this is a multigun practice only. Not to be confused with the weekly action pistol practice.

If you are a classified USPSA shooter, you can attend the multigun practice.

But you need to let me know you are new to multigun, and I will then clear you to shoot multigun practices, and multigun matches, at our club.

Aww ok. So even though I did the safe action pistol course taught by Mike C., I can't go? I haven't done a match or a practice yet, but I want to get out there!

If you took the pistol intro course at our club, you are okay. (But who is Mike C)?

You can come to the practice, and I will check you off to shoot at our club...if I deem you are safe.

If you are new to all this "action-type" shooting, and you just took the pistol intro course last month, I recommend you take the multigun introduction class next week.

The better equipped you are (knowledge-wise), and with hands-on experience on the specific discipline (in this case, long guns), the safer and more confident you will be.

Multigun has its own type of scoring system, and is very different from pistol shooting.

Nuff said.

PS: Bring your pistol intro course completion card.

Realize that when there are multi-gun practices, they only take up 1 bay, there is the usual Pistol practice static line and pistol stage too..

Shooters,

It looks like the weather is favorable for us this coming Saturday.

Unless some unforseen act of nature befalls us (rain)...there WILL be a multigun practice this coming Saturday.

Be there, or be square.

You must be qualified to shoot multigun at our range. If not, you will be turned away. (There is a Multigun intro class the following Saturday if intetested. So jump on the class if you want to shoot multigun, but are not qualified).

Multigun practice Saturday, April 4th.

Gonna see about working on different things pertaining to long guns.

You must be qualified to shoot multigun at our range. If not, you will be turned away. (There is a Multigun intro class the following Saturday if interested. So jump on the class if you want to shoot multigun, but are not qualified. See other post. Call me...don't text/PM/respond to this post, etc...).

Be there or be square. (Help building the stage is always welcome)!

Update: Never mind. Found the other thread w/the info about the class here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=479581. PM and email sent.
