Thumbs up Riveting Ranger Plates

If anyone else was thinking of doing the same:

I had to modify the rivets cause the place I bought them was out of the shorter size. (Olander)

I used all aluminum rivets so I wouldn't run the risk of cracking the body/base flange.

Thanks again for making a great product!

Nice work EuReekCA. You're now Triple Permanent: Replaced floor plate, epoxied, and riveted! I think you're safe

Bought 20 blocks... Lightning shipping (order Wed/Receive Fri) and reasonable s/h ($6.95).

Waiting on my PMag now to try these puppies out... Highly recommended!

If I convert some P-mag (or e-mag) rebuild kits with these how hard will it be to convert them to full cap when I leave this wreched state?

Just save your original floor plate for when you go out of state.

We have one available here: http://www.magazineblocks.com/product_detail.php?pid=6

No immediate plans for one similar to the .223 Pmag blocks due to lower demand. It takes selling thousands just to break even on production and design costs. But the above block works great in the .308 Pmags.

is there somewhere that shows how to install the block into a usgi straight 20 rd magazine? the clip that engages the floor plate seems to make it so I cant go from bottom, and I cant figure a way to insert it from the top

It will fit from the bottom. It can be a tight fit on USGI magazines you just have to wiggle it back and forth to slip past the tabs at the bottom. It's also of to trim the block if you want to make it fit easier. A razor knife will do the job.

I have a rough model made for the Bulgy circle 21's, but AK mags tend to be a pain. Too many variations and manufactures. PM me with the type you have.

Can you load 10 rounds into a Pmag with the blocks and be able to insert the mag with the bolt closed?

Yes you can! The dust covers also work with 10 rounds loaded.
