You're in the clinic but do you need a gun or two?

Hey BJ looking forward to getting out there on the 21st!

It's listed that we will be bringing 2 guns but as mentioned before we actually will only have 1 gun. A 12g pump. Just wanted to remind you so there's no surprise come Sunday morning.

If there is a 20 guage available for the wife though we would appreciate it.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you there!

BJ, Great class!!! Thanks for putting this together. I have no idea how I would have started shooting skeet without this class. Don is great! Karin is completely hooked on skeet and now will be getting her own shotgun. Thanks again.

Please put me down for 12/4! I have always wanted to get in to skeet shooting. All I have is a 18" 870 police magnum and a 20" 590, would either of those suffice?

The Sunday clinic will go on unless Triple B's is closed.
If the clinic is rained out I will try to slot participants in other days ... So IF we're rained out I will PM each one to arrange something.

This skeet clinic sounds pretty cool, I'd love to take a tip or two. First I gotta find a way off work though

For me I prefer to get close and get the bird right out of the house. I can get on target quicker when its closer. Usually I get a few good dusters out of a round.

Wow, lots of info in this thread. I'd love to try it and see if I'm wanting to get into this sport. Maybe I missed the explanation...

But what is the difference between skeet and trap?

>> What's the difference between trap and skeet and sporting clays?

One's for old men, one's for old women, one's called sporting clays

Actually it's target presentation. Trap has one machine, skeet has two, sc has 20 or more (like a golf course).

I pick up my new FN SLP MK1 tomorrow.

I think this would be a great way to get familiar with my new blaster.

It has a 22" barrel with a standard shotgun stock so I take it this should be ok.

It has 8+1 capacity. Is there a limit on how many shells I can have loaded?

Also, I drive a Honda s2000. Is the road to get to the parking location rugged? If so my car will not survive. LOL.

I think a 22" will be fine. The roads are paved and its actually very civil!!! The coach or myself will go over the rules when you get there ... Which date?

Hey Jordon,
sign me up for 2/06. This will be my second time and I will need a shotgun again. 12ga.

Do you happen to have the pictures of my last lesson? I don't think you put them up on here.

Thanks!

You got it. I have the pics in my camera but I don't have the cord to download it. I'll take them to Wally to make a disc and I could load them in.

What cord you need? Is it the USB mini cord? If so I've got a bunch of them at work and I can get you one. Second option would be to invest in a Memory card reader and problem is solved too.
