Finally got some pix of my setup. Probably total overkill for plinking but man I really love this thing.

How do you like that long top rail, I've been thinking about one of those. Heavy? By the way, nice rig.

Thanx guys...

I like the aluminium rail, though I cut my self on it 4 times in one day the edges by the charging handle are really sharp. But I bought some Nike batting gloves and its all good now.

yea love the m4 stock because the retractable HK style is too short for my preference. But i gotta tell you, its heavy.

I haven't weighted the gsg yet, but its really heavy with all the stuff on it. But I get alot of 'Oh WoW's at the indoor range in brea every night.

It is more than mildly irritating that these are not going to be made anymore...

They are quite nice, particularly when dressed up for the big dance.

Where'd you get that rail that attaches to the SD handgrip? DIY item?

Excellent! Thanks. I think that's what I'll do with mine. Don't need all the full RAS grips, only need to mount an NCStar green laser and vert grip.

yea cool man, just be sensative with the VFG (dont tight the screws too much and dont pick of the rifle from the VFG) the plastic is really hard but it can crack, and if it does super glue the crack and it wont grow.

Got mine tonight and started modding it with parts from the marui airsoft mp5 ras that i had. turned out great but dam its a heavy beast now! I actually liked the stock stock because it was light and shorter than the folding stock, felt a little more comfortable. i may switch back. IM not sure ill se how i feel after a day of shooting it. tell me what you think.

Hey guys i know this is a picture thread for the GSG-5 and i love it!!! Great pic's guy's,can't wait to put pic's of my new baby when i pick it up in about 7 days,it's on the 10 day thing well i started buy goodies for it and i found this guy selling (2) original ATI 10 round mags. + (1) FREE (mag. clamp) for $96 it's kind of pricy i guess, but the 10 round mags. are sold out everywhere!!! The gun shop were i bought my rifle at,sold out in 2 days people where buying 2,3 4 mags at a time!!! and the price was $49 bucks each!!! so i figured this was a better deal. Yes promag sell's them to but i heard they suck big time, the guy at the gun shop told me if i can find them to buy the original brand mags. for this rife,so you can buy them>>> HERE i call this guy today and he told me he's got more!!! So check it out.

600 rds flawlessly and i didnt even oil the dam thing just the packing oil. the sight is off a bit and i didnt bring the other inserts with me so it was just fast firing fun looked like a solid stream of ammo flowing out the side of it. and the 22 rd clips fit 24 rds. just thought id rub that in a little, but you guys got a ocean so it works out. everyone kept asking me "is that full auto?" and the look of it kinda begs that question. when i pull the covers off the front grip it looks even more aggressive.

Probably have about 450 rounds through it now, no hiccups! Working great with CCI Mini Mag and Remington Cyclone.

Sorry for the crappy pics. Hasty shots with my iPhone.
