They must only make about 10 a week lol

Seems like they are pumping out the KSG's though. On KTOG forums KSG serial number is up to 104,000. Couple years back in early 14 when i got mine it was 28,xxx.

RFB serial number is a 7800 and those been out since 09 or so.

RDB serial number is at 90 something

They have threads going over there to see who has the highest serial number.

They don't have one for the sub2k though

I'd like to see some off set optic set ups. Is it practical to mount a red dot and still be able to fold it

Yes, but you need a different rail system. One is made that rotates so you can turn the rail, and fold.

I was going to ask this today too.
I contacted kel-tec and ask when their next batch of Sub2ks and RDBs were being shipped to their distributors. The following is the reply I received on April 27th:

We are shipping the SubG2's every week to our distributors (wholesalers) then they sell them to the dealers, etc.

The RDB should start shipping in the next few weeks hopefully, but again, they'll be very hard to find until backorders all over the world are caught up.

So it sounds like they are trickling out.

My fear is the laws will change before we can take possession.

I wish someone could convince Kel-Tec to send their whole production only to Kali until the new laws stop them.

I talk to my distributors weekly on the sub2k's. A batch of G23's came in for other dealers. There is no eta on my order but if no guns are here by 9/1/16 I will start issuing refunds from the back of the line forward. ANyone can cancel anytime they want but I was not expecting anything until May any way so we are just starting to get into the better fulfillment time of May-October. Cancelling now would not be a smart thing to do unless oyu just want to pay a lot more.

If it gets down to the end of the line I will start buying at retail to fill orders if anyone wants to pay the difference between my price and market. The guns still need to be converted so I will work on special pricing for transfer conversions. It's not much of a difference and I can usually get better pricing on shipping.

This. All these years in CA have taught me to be patient. And Phil is a vendor that is trustworthy.

What does it mean to lock the stock fully extended for 30+ OAL? Is that a modification to the factory parts or just simply setting the stock to the full extension using unmodified factory parts?

You mean for CA compliance? I'm pretty sure you don't have to do anything to the threaded barrel for CA compliance.

I just got 1 black g19 and 1 fde g19 allocated. These are already sold. I;'m sorry it is taking so long for the orders to fill. Was not expecting such a long delay.

I also got 2 G22 black .40sw if anyone wants them.
Due to demand and low inventory price is now $600 shipped converted.

I haven't been able to confirm with Keltec yet but I think you can convert any of the 9mm models to any other magazine type by buying a replacement grip. It comes as 2 parts, left and right sides and is not the receiver-gun-part so its not a regulated item and you can order them direct from keltec but they only seem to have the G17 and G19 types.

On a side note I did get a 9mm M9 sub2k from another source. If anyone in the LA area wants to trade for a G17 type I'd be game. Otherwise I'm still waiting for a G17 version but I'll probably convert my M9 version to G17 before the G17s even come in.

No news yet. I know these guns need to be in Ca soon. I have a back up plan for that. It will just cost me money to get it done. I entered this with the assumption new laws would pass this year. Nothing has changed for buyers.

I just got confirmation from Keltec over the phone with a tech that the 9mm (gen2) versions can have their magwells/grips changed to other types with just replacement grip halves. Look at the parts list below for conversion to G17 mags. You don't need new grip pins but they would be useful as spares and to keep your spare in one assembly. Why would you do this? Well in case you were waiting for a very specific snowflake sub2000 and it never shows up before the 12/31/2016 deadline for AW. You can grab any gen2 9mm version and convert it later to the magazine and color you want.

Parts listed below are for converting any gen2 9mm to G17. Right now only the black G17/G19 parts are available on their website but they -promise- that the website is going through an overhaul and all the versions and their different colors will be available after the overhaul whenever that is.

Just a reminder I pre-paid and was reserving a G22 Gen2 Sub-2000 (.40 S&W).

I confirmed my order with you via PM (1/23/16) when I sent my USPS money order.

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...4&postcount=44

My preference was any color besides black. But, I'm not going to be picky about the color now.

For everyone still patiently waiting, here's a video tour of Kel Tek's factory.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFjVBzC2er0

Many components are assembled by hand. No wonder they're so slow at getting these guns out the door! Sub2000 assembly begins at roughly the 9:23 mark.

Update roll call! Who has had their order fullfilled, and where are you on "the list?"

I'm invoice 2411, so I'm hoping I see a gun before December.
