I don't see any 45-70 on the list or on their web site. Guess they dropped them.

Looking at the list and their website it doesn't appear they have anything suitable for reloading for my M1 Garand.

With the 308-150FP's, I wonder how much elevation you would have to crank in to reach out to the Rams? 150gr should be sufficient to score, but the 168 SMK's are better suited. What is your preferable recipe to reach out to 500M? Thanks. :-)

I use Hornady 155gr hpbt cannenlure in my PSL it can bring the smack down out to 500m.

Great, Thanks.

I assume shipping will just be divided according to the qty ordered??

I'll figure out my order over the weekend.

Sounds like you have the PSL dialed in. I was thinking more for the Garand. Figured the FP would change the ballistics at 500. I'm still tinkering with my bullet/powder. Need to gear up for the next go round.

Default Bench Build

Sorry guys, I have been jumping to the last page and missed all the bench build discussion.

Was the build last Sunday, the 25th? or is it this coming Sunday, the 1st. If the latter, I hope we are doing it early in the day.

I like evaluating the commercials starting at 1530... sort of like that intellectual magazine by Mr. Hefner, I really preferred the interviews, short stories, and humor. Oh to have Silverstein, Nabokov, and Yeager back again. But I digress...

Appreciate the update.

Hey guys. I plan to attend my first meeting this month. I reload mainly .45ACP on a Dillon 650. I would like to get in on your group buy of bullets if that is okay. I need 6,000 230gr RN. I mainly use Bear Creek. Do any of you use the Xtreme 230gr RN? Have you had any problems with them?

I look forward to meeting you guys.

Grant

Question for everyone. I'm looking for a 223 die that has a funnel that allows hand dropping powder into the case when being used on a multi stage press. Anyone know of a manufacturer etc?

I read somewhere before that you can use the funnel from the old at500 with the powder dies and funnel. Never tried but that's all I can think of using

I've only shot the Extreme 230 RN for the last two years. Haven't had any problems and I like the way they shoot.

Lee makes a powder through rifle die for the loadmaster. This die can also be used with a funnel, or with an adaptor (that I have) a RCBS powder drop fits on it as well. Now that I joined the "Green Team" I don't use the loadmaster anymore you are more than welcome to use my die to see if its what you are looking for.

Here is an estimated breakdown of kegs. They arent exact qty as they vary depending on configuration (rn,hp,dsrn, LFN) but here is what they said

115gr rn 9mm 22k $
230rn 45 11k $
180gr 40 14k $

Obviously 9mm kegs hold more than 45 as you can see.

Edit: also no pricing yet since we don't know how much we are ordering and everyone has to be onboard with same round to get a keg but pricing is suppose to be substantially lower than if you order same amount if 500rnd boxes since we have to separate ourselves

Hi all. I am just starting to learn about reloading after completing my 5.56 AR and picking up a G19. I would like to learn to reload for both.

How can I get involved with this group?

Thanks.

Just a bit of nostalgia off an old thread I couldn't post to. Anyone like 45APC at 10 cents / rd?

Enjoy.

Well I have bad news. Pricing isn't that much better on kegs. Since we need to order a minimum of 250k a month to get silver pricing according to them. But if you basically take 3$ per 1000 off that would be our cost if we order a keg

Is that $3 per thousand off of the price list in this thread? For example, 230gr RN .45ACP would go from $104/1000 to $101/1000?

Those were just individuals requests that wanted kegs but my previous post stated that we aren't getting that good of a deal. We will discuss more next wednesday

Correct, but that's if we were to buy a keg of that specific bullet. But the $104 price is our pricing now for individual orders
