I would love to be there but until I find out when my scope will be coming back from IOR my rifle is once again out of commission. I'll see if I can make it out just to shoot the iron sights though

High Power match at Pendleton this weekend.

Hopefully the weather cooperates. I'll shoot in the rain, but not in a thunder storm standing next to a 6 foot lightning rod while holding another 20" lightning rod.

I'm still hitting Angeles. Paper at 500 is tempting but so is the reloading store. Gotta hit the reloading store.

Looks like we'd be there on Saturday probably around noon. I m driving froom the Bay Area and going to hook up with my cousins to go there.

How is that place on weekends? Crowded? I need to zero my AR at 25 and 50, is there an area there where I can do this?

I have to make a reminder for myself to call you tonight Randall. I really need to get my AR over to your shop so I can get some rails installed and a tactical latch! Maybe I can catch you before your match this weekend, if not then early next week.

I may still go to Burro but as of now I'll be at Angeles. That reloading store keeps calling my name.

How much elevation do you add to offset rain drops?
If there's no 3gun match tomorrow, I might head to Angeles as well.

Its not the rain drops you offset its the added humidity and drop in temp. Actuallly rain is fun to shoot in expecially at LR . . . talk about seeing trace . . . it looks like a shock wave in a good drizzle. Of course at ASR once the fog rolls in you're screwed.

APS will be open though I'm off this weekend (who cares) - if it rains too hard they'll just go paperless to keep from ruining the backers but the steel is there to clang.

I know what you mean, Got back a new rig, LTR, w/ some mods from Randy "HateCA" @ R&D Precision & need to zero in a friends rig that came back from bedding in a new stock from R&D Precision.

Been keeping tabs on the weather, was hoping it would dump today, but is what it is. Just need paper for 2-3 shots per.... oh well, maybe I'll go bang some steel

-or- Stay home & roll some boolets

Have a good one,
F.T.K.

What time are you going over? I see on the website they open at 10a.m. - I may just call and then head down if they have some and they don't want an arm & a leg. I need a new cleaning rod and a few other things. Why is it you either break or run out of everything at once?

Well, I arrived at ASR at 10 a.m. and left at 12:50. Beautiful day, a ~6mph wind coming from 5 o'clock to the rifle line in line with the sun postition. As I was walking out of the reloading store to head home, it finally started to rain. Perfect timing.

Hypertex we were there at the same time except I was in the Reloading Store. SOrry guys they all out of 175SMKs (they onlt had 200) and 168AMAXs (again only 200).

They're putting in their order now and are suppose to be ordering the 500 pk boxes of 30 cal SMKs and the Nosler CC 250 pks.
