From YETI... SOURCE

"A few weeks ago, YETI® notified the NRA Foundation, as well as a number of other organizations, that we were eliminating a group of outdated discounting programs. When we notified the NRA Foundation and the other organizations of this change, YETI explained that we were offering them an alternative customization program broadly available to consumers and organizations, including the NRA Foundation. These facts directly contradict the inaccurate statement the NRA-ILA distributed on April 20.

Further, the NRA-ILA stated in that same public communication that “[YETI has] declined to continue helping America’s young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities.” Nothing is further from the truth. YETI was founded more than 10 years ago with a passion for the outdoors, and over the course of our history we have actively and enthusiastically supported hunters, anglers and the broader outdoor community. We have been devoted to and will continue to directly support causes tied to our passion for the outdoors, including by working with many organizations that promote conservation and management of wildlife resources and habitat restoration. From our website to our film footage and from our social media posts to our ambassadors, YETI has always prominently featured hunters pursuing their passions. Moreover, YETI is unwavering in our belief in and commitment to the Constitution of the United States and its Second Amendment."

Okay, so you have no proof. If Yeti cared about the 2A then they would have done something to show their commitment after they ****ed up their relationship with the NRA.

Now let’s get back to the topic of Amazon deals, minus Yeti.

I edited my post with YETI's statement and the source.

Agreed, lets get back to the OT.

regular price $269. prime day deal is $199. amex deal took 20% of $269 off the total. I bought 3 things in the same order so I'm not sure what the exact final price was but around $160 with tax?

Go with Grizzly Coolers. All coolers are USA made and they definitely support the 2nd Amendment.

I put the Garmin Vivo in the cart and check out with Amex point but I don't see the additional 20% off. Could you help tell me what am I doing wrong?

Does the 20% apply to multiple orders?

Use the link I posted, you have to activate the rewards thing (few clicks) and in check out use your AMEX point(s) to get 20% off. Depending on if you use all your points to pay for it or just .01 points, you get the 20% off and the balance is then charged onto your AMEX

When you first launch the URL to link the CC to your account, do you see this little text above it? "Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer." If you do then you can't get the 20%, like me.

That's odd, I haven't had that message come up. I've placed a few orders and they all worked. The only limitation is the savings allowed up to $100 in discount.

try taking the card off your account and go through the link again and relink the card and try again?

Not everyone qualifies for the the same Amex promo, I think. We probably just aren't as good Amex customer as you so we aren't qualify.

I also tried the Amex offer again, was denied. Those are usually one time deals.

EDIT/CORRECTION! I am still eligible for 20%, even though the links says it could, not be activated. I already activated, it is still active. Gonna hit it again

I think you can only use it 1 time, with a max of $100 discount.
edit: apparently you can use it multiple times up to the $100 max amount

You should be able to tell on the activation page if you qualify here: https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&nod...&creative=9325

Just use 1 point, or $0.01 worth. You can redeem your membership points in other ways that are a lot higher value (like transferring to a partner airline and getting an awards ticket).

Looks like the Garmin Vivoactive 3 is no longer a prime deal, must of sold out. Too bad, that was a scorching deal for ~$160.

I just used the Amex deal for a 2nd time. I tried to use it a 3rd time and it was not showing. So I clicked the promo link again, clicked the activate button - got the message that it could not be activated but I went to my checkout screen and sure enough, it is going to let me use it a 3rd time.

So: click the link, click the activate button, ignore any message you get, got to cart and checkout. It should work. I presume it will work until you hit the $100 max discount.

BOOM! Holy Sh,
https://www.amazon.com/WOLF-456102-V...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Wolf Viceroy watch winder, normally $350. Look at this, hurry while it is a lightning + Prime Day + Amex 20 deal!!

And it took the Amex 20 off the regular price BEFORE stacking the Prime Day and Lightning discounts!!! It would have been even cheaper (by another $20) but I maxed out my Amex discount (PS - used it for the 3rd time)

If you want a top of the line winder for a top of the line automatic, jump on this. $350 winder for $49 if you have enough Amex discount left. Even without the Amex deal this comes out to less than $120. I had my wife buy another one, it came to ~$118.

These are pretty good red dots, indoors - in my experience you can barely see the red dot in the full desert sun. But they look cool (based on the reviews, people seem to like 'em):

Sightmark Ultra Shot Plus Flat Dark Earth Red Dot Sight

I wish I had more than my one automatic to justify it.
