Default Sacramento Armory is CLOSED

Their is a note on the door to call if you need to pick up a gun. If you call the number they will confirm they are shuttered bu t will make arrangements for pickups.

No explanation as of yet folks. It's a damned shame. They had good prices and the counter guys knew their business.

Does anyone know when they closed their doors and why?

No clue why they closed, but that is a shame.

I wouldn't call the area ghetto. Not great but not dangerous or overly sketchy. But it was a horrible location as far as access. The front parking was non existant. It was hard to enter the lot with Greenback flying by. They were easy to miss actually. It's a small shop.

I think you're right about the location of apartments being right there. I never really looked at them much.

Sacramento gun shops are dropping like flies. It has to be tough here.

Robbie moved to Utah, but retained the GST operation on the internet. Robbie referred everybody to Ron at Armory Outpost, which recently closed.

Loyal Arms in Folsom is picking up the slack at 35.00 per transfer. I've sent several purchased firearms there without a hitch.

To be fair it was a consequence of the overexpansion of the gun industry that took place during the late 2000's-simply too many shops for one area to absorb. Combine that with the internet undercutting brick and mortar operations and it's a recipe for store closures.

I did business with both GST and Armory Outpost and liked both of them a lot, hopefully those guys are doing well. Shame about Sacramento Armory too. Will have to check out Loyal Arms soon.

Dirk Tungsten,

Let me know how I can help. We are in it for the long haul. Running a few good promos on M&P shields and cci/speers 9mm in the commercial sales section. Business is always competitive, but we try to cement our relationship with everyone of our customers. We also have an exclusive Loyal Customer Ammo Service that we offer to our customers. Thanks in advance.

Well that sucks, Sac Armory had the best prices on 10mm ammo!
