State Long range championship Coalinga
Why do I have to be a member of crpa to shoot the state championship at coalinga? I am already in the NRA and it is a Nra sanctioned event. Kind of a strong arm tactic to make me pay to join crpa and give them$

Because it's actually sponsored by CRPA, they provide the trophy, help advertise and pay the club for any juniors that shoot in State Championship events (that's why juniors can shoot free). To be a State Championship it has to be sanctioned by the State Association. Belonging to the State Association to shoot the Championship is a requirement in every state it's not just California.

If I remember correctly no. There is a requirement to have 10 F class shooters to award a trophy and I think there were only 9 last year. It looks like we have 10 F class signed up for next weekend so there should be an F class trophy this year.
