Default REAL TIME INVENTORY AND ORDERING INFORMATION

Please note:

REAL TIME INVENTORY:

The stock online is updated every 15 minutes. If an item shows in stock, there is a high likelihood that it is in stock at the time you are viewing. We cannot guarantee that someone ELSE is not ALSO viewing the item at the same time, and doesn't buy several of the item to make it go out of stock, but if it shows in stock at the time of your order, you can assume pretty reliably, that you will get your item(s).

ORDER STATUS:

The volume of orders is HEAVY currently. Please understand, that our automated invoicing (email, etc.) will be accurate; calling in for an ADDITIONAL order status, WILL NOT help in any way. It WILL cause delays, as we will then need to redirect resources to checking up on your order.

We recommend that you call AFTER you have received your invoice confirmation, ONLY if you believe there to be a material mistake, or require a change to your order which can only be handled with a representative.

CALL VOLUME:

Our call volume is so heavy that our phone system is at the point of overlapping. Our reps may not be able to answer your call, because they are already on another call. If you MUST speak with a rep, please give it a few minutes and try again.

Riflegear is not overburdened, but we DO ask that you realize the extreme amount of orders we are currently receiving. We will keep you updated through our social media and forum channels if something important comes up.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:
  • We don't publish or disclose inventory amounts
  • We have stock notifications attached to each item on the website (add your email to the box and sign up for notifications)
  • We cannot offer ETA's in general, though we do try to be helpful where it's possible
  • We ARE receiving new inventory everyday
  • Things will sell out, due to the recent political rumors and end of year rush to get guns
  • Basic general questions (like company policies) can be asked on this forum, you may get a quicker response for non-order or legality questions.

SHIPPING

The methods of delivery are starting to become delayed (the postal service and UPS, etc.) due to the time of year. This is not due to Riflegear in most cases. Order early and have some flexibility on your items. Chances are some part of the delivery process could be delayed.

Our staff are working around the clock to ensure the orders get out ASAP, but there are other variables which can complicate the timing for your delivery.

IF THERE IS A PROBLEM with your order, please contact us and list the concern and your order information, etc. at info@riflegear.com

Riflegear is a well oiled machine, but you MUST realize the immense popularity of certain gun related items is causing an extreme amount of orders right now. We are doing everything we can to ensure you get the items you order in the proper amount of time. If you have a concern, please contact us to resolve the problem, we have an excellent track record of taking care of our customers.

A word of caution. It might be a good idea to "diversify" your stock. Maybe start carrying ruger 10-22's and some hunting rifles. I have a feeling evil black rifles are going to be burned at the stake.

I don't think email notifications for items back in stock is working.

i agree with the notification. I requested to be notified when the m/p 15T comes back in stock and was never notified. the only reason I found out was because I came in person and you guys told me they are in stock. same goes for my buddy and the ddm4v5 and v7

If I backorder an item when do you charge? At time of order or when it comes back in stock/ships?

I backordered 3 JDM stripped lowers - JD logo online on 12/7 (before the frenzy) that were out of stock. I called first and was told there were no back-orders for that item at the time. That should put me first when you get some in, right? Have you placed an order with JDM and when do you expect them?

btw - I used a checkcard and was charged immediately.

I was providing that info to RG. When I talked to them about backordering, they told me I wouldn't be charged (pre-authorization only) until the item was available for pick-up. Maybe I was charged because it was a debit card, not credit.

Hey guys,

Was at RG at 10am today looking to back order a DD AR. Benny said that I would have to do it online because that's how you guys track stuff.

However, it doesn't seem that I can add anything out of stock to the cart. Just keeps telling me the quantity exceeds stock on hand.

I understand that it could be awhile before you guys get more stock but I just want to get on some sort of list if possible.

Is this the correct way to make a back-order purchase?

Thanks!

Mcbain,

On normal occasions we would normally direct customers to go ahead and backorder things online when they are out of stock in the warehouse. This morning when I opened the doors I notified customers about our inventory and instructed them to order online if they were seeing out of stock. Unfortunately, we had to disable our backordering system early morning after you had left. For now, it would be best to enter your email address into the notification box and jump on ordering as soon as you are notified.

It was charged right away because it was a debit card, normally it was only pre authorize if it was a credit card.

No, everything that will be available for sale will appear "In Stock" (although probably very briefly) and is available for sale online.

Are you saying you are still getting inventory "regularly", or perhaps most things are back-ordered from the factory?

They said no ETA on shipping which I'd assume is up to 10days.

@Riflegear, if I get notified that an item is back in stock online, can I purchase it immediately online and then schedule for pick up or to sign any paperwork in person? It would save me the hassle of driving down from the san fernando valley just to find out something sold out in minutes online.

If you see it online, just buy it online and then choose in-store pickup as the shipping option. Then you can go into the store when you have a chance. Works like a charm!

Right now we are shipping orders that were placed around the 19th. Of course there are exceptions and some earlier orders have not shipped, and some later orders may have shipped, but on average we are backed up about 10 days. Just today we brought another shipping computer and shipping lane online in the warehouse so that is eliminating one of the bottlenecks so we can get more orders out. Sorry for the delays but we are trying our best to adapt to the situation and we appreciate your understanding.

RG - can you add a "show only in stock items" button for your mobile website?

I check your site many times a day in my iPhone 5 and would be nice to have that feature.

Also, order Online and pick up in store ok for both parts and rifles?

I've never bought from you before. Not sure how you operate.

Looking for a Colt AR btw

On your regular website on the computer you show certain items in stock but when I chek the same exact item on my iPhone, it says out of stock. I'm kinda confused to why they are different e en though your site is different on the iPhone. This was the case for other items but the recent one I'm checking is the Remington 700 5R in 308 20" barrel. Is this item in stock and how many do you ave left? Thanks.

How do you view the classic full site on the iPhone 5?

Thanks!
