Did we hit stage two of this panic and no one tell me? Is powder $99 a pound now too? I just saw a post for wolf SRP for $79.99 + shipping/hazmat ($122.51 for one box shipped) retail price at ammunitionstore.com. I think it's time for me to stop shooting firearms and start throwing rocks!

Damn that was fast! If you have Facebook, like their page and get notification when they post as they always post when they get shipments in.

PV still has SPs in stock.

The Midway price was 500, not 1,000.

LOL, calm down guys. I was only posting about the availability. I never said you wouldn't be taking it dry by ordering it. That is your decision!!

With that said, I have not even thought about purchasing them. Instead, thanks to AR-Realtor's post, I have purchased 2k of Hornady 55gr SP W/C .224 and 16lbs of Ramshot True Blue... Thanks!

I've purchased these before. They shoot very well, a little spendy, but I'm worth it.

I would argue that people who pay that price have more money than brains, but that's just me.

oh we have brains, good jobs and ammo....lots and lots of ammo.....enjoy. and thanks op. it astounds me that folks inform other folks of the deals or supplies that have been trickling in and they want to bash it. poor form, if you don't need it then don't buy it. can't afford it then wait it out. pretty simple. and smart....keep shooting....

Let me share something with you. I bought these projectiles last month. 259 for 1k 3 lbs of reloader 7 @ 21.5 gr gets you 325 rounds (65 bucks for 3lbs) 1k primers 55 bucks, 1k .223 brass 65 bucks. So 975 plinking rounds for 445 bucks. Spendy? Yes. Could I do it for cheaper? Yes, by using the brass that I have stashed and the projectiles that I purchased pre panic. But can I buy 975 rounds for 445 bucks at this very moment? Probably not. For those getting into the reloading game....this is what you face. For 900 bucks you can get almost 2000 rounds. All in all not bad...hang in there while I go shoot....

For what it's worth, my cost for 1k rounds using components purchased over the last two months, is just under $200. Be patient and buy smart.

...and to the OP, thanks for posting this. Though many were critical of the price, there are definitely people that need them and are willing to pay.

Or more money than ammo

I happen to have more ammo than money, so I will pass at that price.

Heck at those prices, I will keep my money and gouge out my own eyes with a soup spoon, rather than let them do it.

Sure it can be done for cheaper. But if you need ammo and you reload it's still cheaper than buying the factory stuff, and shoots better too.
