Default My first Ruger 10/22 Build

I used to own a Howa 30.06 long rifle but I sold it. I miss shooting through a scope so I decided to start a Ruger 10/22 build because it's the cheapest and range friendliest ammo.

I found a good deal on a barely used Ruger 10/22 package. Check the classified section for my unused parts.

The next chore on my list was to find a good deal on a stock. I happened upon a Blaster Laminated Thumbhole Stock (left handed) in the Sky Blue color for only $65.99 on clearance from $153!!! Awesome deal from Stocky's!!!

Now to find a barrel! I wanted to do a silver on blue theme so I ended up going with the Green Mountain Barrel 20" Fluted Stainless Steel from MidwayUSA for $159.99.

Staying with the silver theme for optics as well, I decided to go with the Mueller APV Rifle Scope 4.5-14x 40mm for $124.95, DNZ Products Game Reaper 1-Piece Scope Base (Medium) for $49.99, Mueller 3" Sunshade 40mm Objective Silver for $9.99.

All the parts should arrive within a week!!! I cant wait...

I found this picture online and it's close to what I want to achieve... heck I'm actually really liking that stock as well so I might switch it out down the road if I get tired of the blue.

What should I do next? Trigger? What brand... recommendations?
