Check out Duluth Trading Company's "long tail" T-shirts. I am also 6"1 and I have a swimmers body: long torso/shorter legs, and these shirts will solve your problem without being wide and won't make you look like a refugee.

Xl tall t-shirts and button shirts. My everyday attire, with carry owb, and lifting plenty of kids and doing manual stuff. The "tall" in the shirt is key. Never exposed

I have an 18 month old and had the same problem. Duluth trading tall slim fit t-shirts fixed it for me. They are longer so your gun isn't exposed when you pick her up. You have to get them slim fit though or they are absolutely huge.

Draw is slower from this position but it is a lot faster then fetchin it from the car and I can move it into and out of this position without drawing attention. I plan to come see you about a Glock 10mm as soon as I get done with tax reason. I'll show you then.

It's also better for your back.
