I don't know the answer, but I would be surprised if you can carry into a concert without going through a search or metal detector or something.

I wonder if they give ccw holders a pass?

The Rose Bowl website doesn't say anything about CCW, but it does say that weapons are prohibited. You may want to lock it in the car for this event.

Not a chance in heck they let you in armed.

Forget the car, leave it at home.

I'm also going to that show and won't chance trying to get my gun in there. We will be parking a mile away and taking the shuttle, so I would not want to go through the hassle of having to go back and stash my gun.

I doubt you can carry in the show.

However.....you may need the gun AFTER the show. For yourself. You know, U2 and all.

This.

Be prepared to walk back to your car if you try to carry inside.

Dear User Name No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted inside the stadium regardless of your license. All patrons are required to go through metal detectors before entering the stadium, at which point you will be asked to take it back to your vehicle. Thank you and enjoy the show!

Did the Rose Bowl send you that? I've been to many UCLA games and they don't have metal detectors. Might be different for a U2 concert.

has more responses than 'yes', 'no', or 'I expect no carry will be allowed'.

yes, no carry. wands and if found you are turned back. My wife has MS and can't move a muscle to help herself. I will not cause her any stress I will see the show with everything secured at home.

Wife has MS and can't move her arms and legs. I have had an active life and have broken 16 bones and am recovering from surgery in my right wrist where I had 3 plates and 16 screws installed. It takes us around 15 minutes to transfer her in and out of a car. THIS is why I carry and worry about my personal defense we simply look like a target and can not flee nor defend ourselves during this transfer. I'm not worried while we are in the stands.
