Default How many day?

So, how many days a week do you really carry?
Can you carry at work?

We all talk about carrying everyday, but do you?

I carry to and from.
Work policy does not allow me to carry while working. But, allows me to store in locked container while working.

I carry all day everyday. I also allow myself to carry while I "work" - but I'm also my own boss.

Everyday, everywhere, other than prohibited places of course. It took me a couple months to get to that point, but I too feel like I left my phone at home if I don't have it.

Started carrying seven days a week the day I got my license. Only if I am at the pool, beach, or post office do I remove it.

I bought a Shield 9 because I knew it is small enough that I could carry it everyday and hardly notice. Main reason is it is so slim (less than 1" wide). I knew if I had a fat gun like a G19 I would probably get tied of it real quick.

Unless I am going to a prohibited place, I carry every moment I step outside my front door. I carry a full size Beretta PX4 Storm, so I may be IWB or in a sling bag depending on my purpose for the day (shopping, hiking, etc.). If I leave my weapon at home, I don't necessarily miss it or feel naked, but I am in the habit of bringing it out with me. My kids asked me in the beginning when I got my permit, and I told them that it goes where I go.

Kelty Sling Pack, ordered from LAPG. I am right-handed so I chose the left-draw bag. I added the Hazard4 Stick-Up Modular Universal Holster.

Every day. I carry my wallet, gun, knife, flashlight and at least one extra magazine. The only exception is if I am somewhere I am not allowed to carry or in a bathing suit.

All the time with the exception of post office visits, doctor's office, softball games (as I have a beer after), out to dinner with my wife (again a drink will be involved), into the gym as gun remains in locked car.

If your workplace has no explicit policy in place, do you guys carry and follow a "don't ask don't tell" philosophy? Or do you ask ahead of time?

All of them. Literally all of them, unless I don't leave my home or I am out of town on business. Even when out of town, I often take my EDC with me carry in other states.

I can't carry at work but I can lock it up off-site and carry to/from work.

So yeah, I DO carry everyday, and it IS a lifestyle. Some things are given up when carrying (Post office visits, alcohol at restaurants, visiting certain establishments, where you sit within a restaurant that has a bar etc.) but for the most part they are not a huge issue and nothing I particularly miss. If I really want a drink with my dinner, I unload and lock up my EDC in my car and have a drink with dinner.

I can carry at work, I own the company. (employees are allowed to carry if they so choose)
Where my son works, they have a don't / can't carry policy but they do have individual lockers where he can carry into the workplace, then he can store it in his locker. They do allow that. Doesn't have to leave it in his car.

My IA placed "may not carry at work" on my permit, so I'm not about to violate that. However, I rarely go into the office (work from home) so it is not a concern.

So how does that happen ("may not carry at work" restriction)?

My license says "NONE". It also has my work address on the front. Do they contact your place of work to ask?

That was one of the questions my IA asked me, if I had permission to carry at work?

I carry every time at night.

I carry every time at my work place (business owner).

When not at work, and during the day, I do not carry all the time. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. Just depends on my perception of risk for that day (where I'm going, how long I'll be out etc).

At home, I often (but not always) do not remove the pistol from my hip until its time for bed.

I don't carry every day. I have a pistol in my desk drawer at work.....I keep one in my car and have one at home. So for the most part I'm covered where I am 80% of the time. Then I pocket carry about half the time I'm out and about.

I carry every day, but I'm retired. Plus, I carry a Glock 42, so all I need to conceal it is any kind of untucked shirt or jacket.

I carry everyday. I lock it up when I get to work, and re-arm when I leave. If I leave the house, it's with me (even if it's just locked up in my car; i.e. going to pick up kids at school or post office, etc...)

I do when I'm in Washington. ALWAYS! The good city of San Diego, CA, however, does not trust me with a firearm. Sigh. Sheriff Gore can smooch my right butt cheek.

Every day, all day. Only comes off if I'm going onto a school campus, post office, court house, etc.

If I'm going to the Doctor I have the wife go with and she carries.

I own my own business so not only do I carry but so does every other non prohibited person in the office. Prohibited persons are allowed to have alternative self defense tools at their desks. There are only two and they both chose pepper spray and personal tasers.

Wife carries every day all day, but I don't think she carries at the gym. I could be wrong.

Default How many day?

Everyday that I can. In fact, I wore it today out in my driveway & garage while changing the oil in my car. Alien Gear is so comfortable!

I carry 7 days a week, except prohibited places, Federal buildings, military bases, courthouses etc.

I carry to my doctor appointments, he's fine with it. I feel naked without it.

It's been three years now with my Glock 26. I try and take a tactical training class once a month too.
