Love our L1A1, the 1918 No. 1 Mk. III is just too fun, too! And the Jungle Carbine is a blast. The Martini's are great as well... just wish the Ammo wasn't so darn expensive.

Still need to work on out Breech-Block binding issue on the Snider and then we oughta be able to shoot that thing all day!

We do really need a Long Lee Enfield, though, as rare as those seem to be. And an 1853 Enfield Musket, too!

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to get our hands on a Semi-Auto SA80/L85 to get the collection all the way up to the current English Rifle, though.

Great collection - nice thread.
I do like the vintage stuff.
Those T's are sublime.
I have the Officers swords spanning the above time period - VR to GR

The modern Brit stuff is not nearly as enigmatic -
Falklands era L1A1 with wood stock?
SAS and Marine Commandos used M16's with retro triangle handguards, too.
You could throw an Accuracy International bolt rifle in there, too.
I guess CA problems wit SA Sten, Bren, Sterlings. You could do an airsoft SA80 they are probably more robust than the real ones, lol. Inside joke.

Here's a pic of our Sten Mk3 kit. Its slowly coming along. I've sand blasted off the rust and removed the old bits of receiver.

What...?
No P-14 Enfields?

I kind of fell out of milsurps a couple years ago, bought a Savage No4 Mk1* 8-9 years ago... it's remained my favorite shooter (of all my rifles) to date.
just decided a few days ago, I'd finally get around to refinishing the stock, thought I'd peruse the C&R gallery while it's on my mind.

Whatdaknow a British milsurps gallery is at the top of the list.

Beautiful rifles (and an ex smg) guys!

The Bren may very well be the favorite of my entire collection. Despite weighing in over 20 lbs, eating expensive ammo and was by far the most labor intensive of all my builds.

Sweet, a brand new C&R rifle! And you even got to take it out of the wrap yourself. It doesn't get any fresher that that.

You did a great job on it. Is it chambered in .303 or 7.62x51? Do you reload for it? I'm wondering how long the brass lasts if it's .303 because I know full length sizing really shortens the case life in the Enfield rifles.

It is a 303 gun. I have not yet loaded any brass fired out of it. Eventually I will find out which barrel is the nicest on the brass.
