Something interesting about the one below. Converted by the late P.O. Ackley to 22 Mag

That's awesome. A .22LR, and a .22 mag that was converted by P.O. Ackley!

The only reason I bought it because P.O. Ackley has something on it, otherwise it has no value for me. Got it at San Francisco Gun Exchange, downtown San Francisco, about 18 years ago. I always spend my lunch break checking out that store since I worked only about a block away at that time.

Default MY .22 LR NO 7 MK 1 and LONG BRANCH

Just picked the No 7 up over Christmas in Lodi, CA. Drove 800 + miles round trip to inspect and p/u the beauty. No regrets. One of only 2500 manufactured. Very rare.

Don't have a No 2 Mk IV yet. Am looking to pick one up in the future.

I too am partial to the No 1 Mk III.

MJ1 and JMS you both have a wonderful collection. Hats off to the both of you.

To B&B, thanks.

Never seen No.7 Mk.1 in person, must be very rare indeed. As for driving 800 miles, maybe, just maybe I would have done it when I was younger but I doubt it now.

Do you guys actually shoot these? Honest question, because I see stuff on there that I've always wanted to shoot, like the 03A3, for example...

All my rifles are shot regularly. I go to the range at least once a month. They are rotated. My M44 and Ishapore went on this outing.

Nice!

I totally owned my bowling pin last Friday with my heavy ball 7.62x54R. They're great targets.

Left: 1895 Sestroyretsk Finn marked
Right: 1942 B Barrel
fungus: courtesy of a very moist winter...

Both sets of sights set at 400 meters.

I shoot the B barrel, which is quite accurate: 1 MOA. I've not shot the old guy.

Nice mj1.

Got a Russian SKS in lam and t'was really a gem. Planning to collect other country's, but then Cal ban the sale of original Yugo's w/ grenade launcher, scratch my plan and sold my Russian SKS instead.

Another excuse , I'm not really a big fan of semi-autos.

Very nice mj1. Need to get an L42A1 next. LOL

Let me guess, Pura Vida. Haven't been there either. You look very relaxed indeed.

Is that an American canine or a local Costa Rican stray?
