Default C-products "10" round mag fix?

well i got a couple of the 10/10 round mags and they will hold 11 if you force it. so the are now in parts and of no use. a search shows this is normal for C-products 10 rounders.

so how can i fix the problem so they only hold 10 rounds?
i put a spring from a 30 round mag and i could still get 11 in there.
i would like to be able to take apart the mag for cleaning so that kind of limits what i can do.

what do you got?

Are you able to change the followers? If so, then maybe a green or black follower might be longer and make it hold less rds

Call up C-products. It is a C-products screw up, they will fix it no matter who you bought it from.

they have the C-products "magpul" followers. i put in real magpul followers, usgi green and same result.

i was hoping the magpul ranger plates would lower the count by 1 but my post in the rifle forum about them gives thumbs down to that idea.

IIRC CProducts will fix it if you call them.

They had a bad batch that held 11 awhile back. The brand new ones I just received only hold 10, even if you try to force an 11th with a LULA.

Just glue a 1/4" thick piece of plastic on the bottom of the follower's legs.
