Comsidering the savings over paying someone without a clue to screw it up, then paying Randall to unscrew it up, just make the drive, take a half day and get it done correctly.

If it's just the barrel, mail it to him, it's cheaper. Although you would miss sitting around talking with him while he does the job.

Threading a barrel isn't rocket science. Find a competent gunsmith in your area.
Go to your local gun shop, I'm sure they have a recommendation.

If not, plenty of answers here.
