Funny you can shoot a cop three times and somehow it's still the cops fault for pulling them over.

I'm curious to see what everyone thinks of this. I think it's a topic that will be coming up more, and I'm proud of the official that made a statement defending his guys.

I agree, it could be a concern/topic that comes up again.

However, in this particular contact, the suspect drew the firearm upon seeing the officer draw the taser. It would have been completely different if the officer drew his taser after seeing the suspect draw a firearm.

I think what I'm more curious about, and what I believe the article to be inferring, is that possibly the officer drew his Taser when he should've drawn his gun in reaction to seeing a suspect stick his hands in his pockets or waistband. Am I way off base?

Important to note that not one of the other cops at scene shot the suspect either after he shot the cop three times.

I think we're all curious why they didn't shoot back. I think if they hesitated due to the current political climate, then yes, that's a problem.

If they simply didn't have a shot, that's different.
