What ammo were you feeding them? What shooting position did you take? If it was bench, did you have the rifle(s) in a vise? It could'nt be standing.

We use to look lean, we use to mean, all in all we're still a Marine. Remember thoughs R.E.M.F.s? They drove me nuts. Know it alls. A fresh butterbar thought he was the H.M.F.I.C. till he tucked his tail and ran. There were very few that were good. Lifers that were once enlisted like E-5 and went to O.C.S. we respected the most, because they earned the rank. Anyway, thats my two cents.

What's left of the North side of the Kontum MACV/SOG complex mid Feb. '68. Note the white rubble just out side the wire in the background. That was the occupied police interrogation center.

i was hitting 5/6 at 300yrds today with the darker one of these two today at angeles range in SoCal.

the k31 is simply the most accurate bolt-action military issued rifle i've ever fired, period. and the bayonets kick *** too. if you can see it, you can hit it.

I have a K-31 Swiss, just like the one you posted, and it is the most accurate rifle I have ever shot in my life. But it kicks like a mule though. haha. First shot surprised me.

Mine doesn't have a sling or bayonet. Anyone no where to get one at?

What I'd like to know is if there is any sort of front sight adjustment tool available for a reasonable price out there, as mine was way off on windage when I bought it, and after another K-31 owner at the range drifted it a bit, it was a bit better, but still quite off, and that's something I'd like to correct with a certain amount of precision (drfiting it is kind of crude and definitely imprecise).

Those bayonets on those swiss rifles are something else, I wouldn't want to be stabbed with one.

Nice Swiss rifles! Would love to have one of those bayonets for my rifle. Here is mine.

Semper Fi Marines and thank you all that served for your sacrifices and service. Cheers!
