Nice guns!

I recently rekindled my interest in bolt guns after about an eight year absence. With all the recent regulations I've put most of my semis on the backburner.

What kills me is all the advise given by ppl that dont actually shoot...or shoot enough to be giving advise but that’s pretty common everywhere now.

The Hide has it's own flavor of snowflakes. I got banned long ago, for agreeing with a guy who was heckling Veer.

OP - do you reload your own ammo? What do you load for those two calibers for 1K+ yards?

Veer is a ***** cat

I’ve shoot matches or whatever with a lot of the guys on the Hide. Only here, do we have people who think they are completely above everyone else.

So in Sig’s defense (who I have no fN idea who he is) I also thought the title, then the photos were almost a bait and switch..

Hell the monopods screamed IK and beyond -lol

Awesome pair of rifles. Do you load? Was wondering what your loads were for the Barret. I just bought one but have not had the opportunity to load and shoot it yet.

Thanks for sharing

Very nice rifles. You like those palm swells. I think they get in the way. Just personal preference. That bipod on your Barrett looks too much in my opinion. I like Atlas, but I just got Magpul's new bipod and it is quite nice.

Just sharing personal preferences. Your rifles are bad azz. Congrats OP.

@alpha_romeo_XV, @cocorador unfortunately, I haven't got a chance to reload
my rounds on my 300 win mag and 338 Lapua due to health problems lately and still recovering. I had a massive Heart attack last December @home. I had to be shocked 6 times , and had a triple bypass open heart surgery. Anyways, here's a pics of my reloading equipment.

Here's my 1K rifle...Yeah, it screams KD range too.

I couldn't fit the whole barrel in the picture, it's 30" long...

Nothing special. 6mmBR usually shooting NRA midrange at 600, but it handles Palma distances (8, 9, 1K) with 107gr Nosler CC's.

I didn’t say it was the wrong forum.

But ya, “1k and beyond” in the title seemed to me like there would be some content or something relevant. A couple of rifles sitting on the table with no context to me seems like the title is out of place..

Maybe I should have said “click bait” ?

Sorry I just don’t get why anyone would title something like that in a forum and not add relevant text. Yes, I get that the 338 or 300 might be capable of shooting far, Hell I’ve owned more than a hand full of 338s, but kinda so what as that isn't all that relative either. I would not have said what I did, if Sig's teeth didn't get bashed in, there was some content that seemed relevant, or if the title said “Hey, look at my new toys” etc..

BTW, sorry to the OP for his health issues.

Speaking clearly in complete sentences goes a long way on the internet.

Hope you get better soon and get that loading bench a little messy.
In al seriousness, I wish you fast recovery so you can get back to all the things you wish to do. Please let us know when you get those awesome rifles in the field. But don’t rush it. Health comes first.
