Default Duracoat on Duracoat

I used the aerosol duracoat before with great results. This time I used it on a larger rifle and ran out before putting on what I was hoping would be the final coat or possibly one more. Now I have a rifle with some areas that are a little thin and when you look closely you can tell it needs another coat. All the parts are still hanging. Do you think it would be ok to just wait for another can to arrive and finish the coats then? Or will the few days spent curing affect more coats from adhearing to the now cured product? I hope I explained this well enough. I would hate to have to leave it as is or start over.

Thanks

You can sand it down a little and re spray, but if it was me I would bead blast and start over, otherwise you may not like the result. And it makes no sense to waste your time and product for a short cut..

A little late for your situation but for the future you have up to 7 days to re-coat Duracoat on itself with out further prep. I had this same question and called and asked. I'm finishing up a digital pattern and requires several coats and wondered max time between coats as I had to handle parts and apply stencils.
