Dimitri,

I just ordered the 4x scope. Just curious what mount you were using in the video and/or what do you recommend for an AR-15 mount setup?

That is the American Defense QD add on. The scope includes the correct height mount. The ADM substitutes a quality QD lever for the bolt on base.

Looks awesome!

2 questions.

1. The string tied to the front sight post is for estimating wind, right? Nice trick. I learned something there. Any insight onto how heavy the yarn/string should be, how long, what angle = what wind?

2. What is that anti-cant device on second rifle (with quad rail) with the bubble hanging off the left side?

So how does this compare to the Primary Arms 2.5X Compact AR15 Scope with CQB ACSS Reticle? Besides the higher magnification, are there any other differences?

On the last rifle in the video, what micro reflex red dot do you have mounted on the scope?

Different reticles the 2.5 has the ACSS CQB-M reticle and the 4X has the standard ACSS.

That's due to a built-in safety mechanism to prevent epileptic seizures among susceptible viewers.

Dimitri,

I was wondering if the BDC data you published in the upcoming 4x14 ACSS .223, .308 thread is the same for the new 4x prism scope? I just recieved my scope but it didnt come with any instructions or paperwork?

BTW the scope looks awesome! love the reticle!

Yes at 4x it's very fast up close. It's why there is a large horse and 4x , you can even illuminate and room clear keeping both eyes open. You can mount a micro dot on 45 degree mount if you want to cover CQB to 1000

Dimitri, I'm curious about something. Why do all the PA illuminated scopes (at least the ones I've seen) have brightness settings from 0 to 11? Is it because it's easier for the manufacturer to make the parts using 12 sectors in the rotary dial (one sector being off)?

Or is it an homage to the movie "Spinal Tap"?

What is the difference? Is one better then the other?

Also do you have any discounts for forum or first time PA buyers?

I am buying something from you guys ASAP ... just needing to decide.

ALSO: ... any ETA or exact date on the 1-6X??? I am really at a crossroad at the moment between this and that (I will go with this I'm sure cause I need something)

I'll try to help by posting the 2 Reticles and what I know about them:

The CQB Reticle is etched on the 2.5x Prism Scope. It is more designed for Short-to-Intermediate Distance with fast target acquisition.

The Standard ACSS Reticle is etched on the 4x Prism and 1-6x Variable Scope, designed more for Intermediate-to-Long Distance, with some close range capability.

Any ETA on the Primary Arms Red-Dot Reflex Sight?

Shows June, If I get the 4X Prism Scope I want to get this to mount on the top rail

I have seen the release dates recently be many months behind on a couple products, is this the same or is this 99% For Sure a June release?

There is no way to say. All we can do is hope it does. I would get that 4x before it goes out of stock.
