Well guys...bit the bullet and purchased a FDE and green LVOA....coming in next week Thursday. Have several KAC models already and after trying my buddies LVOA last month I could not stop thinking about how much better it feels (recoil) than my Knights with MAMS.

It'd be nice if Crane would include bungee cords with their rifles. Guys gotta make due with rubber bands.

MK12 mod 1 with SU-230? That's definitely a first. I'm into it though, I'm a specter slut.

You know whats odd. Being a dude who has a SR15 with a 3T i will say that this was purely a mental thing. Either that or you need to hit the gym and or get some grip strength.

Why not go all out and go for the gusto mucho 26" rifle length. Then there would be no need for a gym.

I mean you were talking about the softest shooting gun was the LVOA and since you are looking for a workout and a pillow for a shooter I figured that the m16 platform would be perfect. I'll let you shoot mine if you want. 10lbs unloaded

I'm partial to KAC stuff. Been using their products for about 16 years and the SR15E3 for the last 5 years.

SR-15, for its E2 (enhanced bcg) design and for the fact that the
Sr's setup is capable of attaching a sound Suppressor via Surefire's mb and the LVOA is not.

If I'm not mistaken, that particular laser device and similar ones like it have the ir/vis laser offset to one side or the other. Ie: if the laser is offset to the right mounted on the top rail, then the shooter would be able to manipulate the Surefire switch with the left hand without obstructing the laser. There are also other functions to consider when utilizing an ir/vis aiming device.

i'd say those rifles look to be fully functional to me, given that the user is equipped with proper nvd's. And unless those accessories mounted are meant for airsoft... I don't see why the rifles would't be functional.

How about this, you try running that same setup with your MFAL device and NODs and then report back on how well it works.

All these flavors and you chose bitter. Ive picked up my fair share of unzeroed rifles in the Army. But wtf do I know?

I hear that a lot. But he did border work and drug interdiction. A lot of those guys have seen more action than dudes who deployed to very large bases or sat on the fob the entire time.
