I'm curious to see that. I finally got photos of the frame. At less than 1k rounds, it shows much more wear than a P226 with three times the round count.

I keep those areas greased with TW25B grease, the same stuff included with the Sig. Everywhere steel rides/slides on aluminum, I grease. The Beretta not only has the typical frame rails to grease, but also those internal rails for the locking block and the top of the frame where the barrel locking block rides. That is all steel on aluminum action - grease it and you will keep that wear significantly diminished.

I've always used a good grease in that area. That's what shocks me so much. I'm wondering if the rails were poorly finished and this was just smoothing itself out.

Just for the Taurus haters.

Wanted a 92 G Inox model but bought this FS Inox in case everything starts falling off roster next year. Takes time to hand polish everything, but it's still fun. Still looking for a SS trigger bar.

Have fun putting the trigger and takedown button after polishing back together. Same spring for both, looks like a pretzel. Took awhile but I made a slave pin for the trigger that did the trick.

I do not recall, had them for a while. Though I think Hogue makes a similar aluminum grip?

For anyone interested in seeing how your 92fs is held together, or (like me) want to exchange certain parts, here are links to a couple of informative and easy to follow YouTube videos:

Beretta lovers, Beretta USA website has 98 elite stainless barrels for $99. These are chamber in 9x21. Will work in 92fs and 96 slides. 96 may be questionable, but you know.

That is if you want to throw a 124grn bullet down range just a little bit faster. No other modification necessary.

Same overall length but longer case.
