The usual suspects....
Both have been subject to the nationwide downturn in turnout due to ammo shortages.
This in turn has had different effects at different ranges. In these two cases, ranges have difficulty justifying shutting down ranges for a small number of attendees at the expense of normal members. Combine in some cases with club politics, funding of other disciplines considered undermined by Appleseed free volunteers, etc., and for the small number of events which can be found on their calendars it becomes counter productive to try and hold events.
All things shall pass...
This is not to criticise these ranges who have been stalwart supporters and may be again in the future as events and circumstances permit.
But for now I would not count on there being any shoots at these ranges in the forseeable future.
If shooters and past attendees can do their part to drive friends, family and coworkers to shoots to push our numbers up then we can get ranges to let us in for a win/win.
Cheers
