Default Old Abandoned Rifle Range in Fresno County 500 Yards with Pits

Appears military. The pits and berms/firing lines are still there and visible from Google Earth. 100, 200, 300, and 500 yard known distance. Anyone know what used to be here or have any info?

Cool, Goole Earth has it at about 500 yard range with 100-200-300 and 500 yard shooting distance marked.
Comes in off N. Leonard Ave. from E. Behymer Ave. coming in from N.DeWolf & Carson north side of Harlan Ranch.

Though Leonard looks to be a couple blocks of dirt or non existent road, might have to come in from Carson side to Copper Ave.

Be a good spot for a NorCal shoot meetup as range is already in place.
Privately owned now?
Gov owned?

Must be water there close by as there is lots of green patch in a barren landscape.
Maybe the Farmers off to the right?

Anyone go or remember the old Area 53 Shoot outside of Lovelock, Nv. My son, nephew and I rented a trailer and made the 1300 mile roundtrip. Two members from the L.A. area were also up there. Got a flat tire just as we made it to the location and discovered that El Monte RV doesn't supply a spare or jack. That was fun, but we got it fixed eventually and enjoyed shooting for a couple of days with about 25 other Calgunners, mostly from the Bay area I believe. Tannerite makes nice booms.

Its for America.

That route dead ends into a gated fence.

Looks like a better route although its gated at N. Carson Ave. and there are gates on both sides of the aqueduct. I think it likely that the gates are all locked.

One of the articles mentions a well which is probably in the NE corner.
