You would most likely have to be present while he works on an AR lower.

Sorry guys, I was on a short vacation up in Idaho/Washington. I was in Gun and Fishing PARADISE! I have replied to all PM's and all caught up with cerakote orders. Turn around on my first page says 1-7 but dont think I ever took longer then 2-3 days for single colors. Most stuff goes out the very next day after I receive it.

forgive me if this question has been asked and I missed the answer (read all 7 pages) but I was wondering how far we need to strip a Glock slide to have ot cerakoted? Do we just remove the barrel and retaining spring or do we also have to remove firing pin? Thanks

U can keep the barrel and spring. He can do the rest if he needs to. I usually send everything but those 2. Hope that helps

Thanks Benz510 for helping me out. You can ship me glock slide complete and I will disassemble no problem and even install new sights that you provide at no additional cost. Non-glock slides I charge a little bit more or can also discount some if you completely disassemble.

The camo slide in the pics above is of my Advantage Arms kit for my G17. Ryan did an amazing job, his communication and attention to details is awesome. I plan on having Ryan do much more work in the future. Don't hesitate, get your work done by Ryan! The pics I attached are from my phone and don't do justice to the quality and precision of the work, but do give you an idea of what it will look like on your Glock.

This Man's workmanship is Top Notch !!!

Quick Story ::

I have had this 'ol Glock 26 on my side for 'Years' and it showed it
Sent it up to Ryan and he received it on Friday and started on it right away
He sent me pics. as the work progressed
Great communication
I told him I wanted to get as close as he could to original Glock finish
And he hit it out of the park ...Perfect match ( Dark Smoke)

(I'll be posting pictures , But not with Photobucket !! )
Not only did he complete the work Saturday ...He also got it in the mail
And I received it Today !!!!!!

But there is More !!

He also installed the new Truglow fiber optic TFO sights I sent with the slide
And installed new Firing pin channel liner

My 'ol friend has been Re-Born thanks to a true Professional

Thanks Ryan

Let me start this review of Ryan by saying I was suppose to send my slides elsewhere that was offering Calgun members a pretty smoking deal to cerakote. I went with Ryan because of all the good reviews I read of him on here; I now experienced his services first hand and let me just say all those reviews of him were dead on! I sent Ryan 2 slides of mine (Glock & XD) and from the moment he received my slides his communication was non stop ( a good thing ), sent me text through each phase of the process, installed some sights for me (sold me some he owned cause I forgot to send him mine) and shipped super fast back to me. The only thing I wish I could change about Ryan is his location cause if he lived closer to me he'd have all my collection to work on. I work in the service industry and the level of service you provided Ryan was without a doubt top notch, keep up the good work and thanks again !

Your very last link worked for me earlier today, not it does not. Use Imgur to upload the pics.

To anyone considering getting work done by Ryan, even though you cannot see lots of the pics as of now, the comments should give you an idea. He's very punctual and is a perfectionist. He's the only guy I'd recommend in Bay area for cerakote

Here are some pics of the work he did for me this week. G17 slide in sniper grey and STI 2011 slide in tungsten and barrel in black. Top notch service! This guy is going to blow up when he gets his ffl!

2011 should match my AR nicely

I am extremely happy with Ryan's work. My crappy pics don't do his work justice. Not only does he do high quality work, he also is fast, great commutator, detail oriented, and is very particular and careful. You will be hard pressed to find something with better customer service skills. When he gets his FFL his business will explode. Mark my words. Get him to do his magic before you have to wait 6-8 weeks. Thanks Ryan for and excellence job!
STI slide in tungsten
G17 slide in sniper grey
He also coated the 1911 barrel perfectly.
