unless it was stocked this morning. I've found ammo in vista at night, and ammo in san marcos in the morning and night... I have no idea what time they are stocking shelves, last I heard (about 2 months ago) it was in the morning

9mm boxes of 500 rds for $200 at "The Professionals Gun Shop" in Poway on Pomerado Rd. The guy said they throw in a 5% discount if 1000 rounds are purchased (2 boxes) ... pretty expensive but they had about 10 boxes and it kind of beats waiting in line at Walmart.

P2K in El Cajon has plenty of .223 as low as $11.99 per box. FMJ PMC Bronze. I think there is a limit of two boxes. I also picked up a small brick of Federal .22 (325 rounds) for $23.79. Limit 1 per customer. They also had CCI 100 round boxes for $9.99.

Gunshow at Delmar Fairgrounds got everything... no limit as of 1100 except for superior name brand .22lr such as CCI and Remington. Other than that, people were leaving with cases and cases of .223 and 5.56. Parking was $10 and the ticket price was $13 or $14 depending if you buy it online or over at the site location.

P2K has Federal bulk 325 count .22lr and some CCI. The Federal was $23.79. I also bought a UMC mega pack .223 for $115. (200 rounds of FMJ, 55 grain) Call in advance as quantities did appear to be limited. This not related to the post above. I purchased the ammo today.

Cabelas had 200 rounds shipped for $102. I bought 10 boxes of that too. Ammo is out there. Prices seem to be declining. Cabelas had the privi partisan for 8.99 a box and 10 boxes only cost me $12 to ship. $102 total.

I just left Walmart in Clairemont and they were pretty dry. Had some 12ga and .38, but no .45 in sight. Any leads on .45 ACP lately? I'd like to get at least 500 rounds.

The Walmart by the Chick Fil A workers do this and almost brag about it.

I'm looking for 5.56, but those prices on the 5.56 are ok if you're in need of it. Factoring the parking, entrance, time, and convenience might be better off ordering online.

21 cents per round of 45acp reload is not bad

that's how much some of the flippers here are charging for 22lr

Bought two boxes of 9mm at the Walmart off 4th Ave Chula Vista. They had maybe 10 more boxes of 9mm and all other calibers.

I don't know if you noticed but prices on ammo went up. Federal 100 value pack of 12 birdshot is 28.xx from 23 I believe last year. Value boxes of Winchester and Federal 9mm went up to 27.xx and 26.xx, $2 increase I believe.

I saw 5.56 NATO boxes of 150 rds at Walmart $69. They had like 6-7 boxes at aero dr and 5-6 boxes at grossmont. But this was 4-5 days ago. 40 cal seems to sit on the shelf A LOT longer than it did. I think ammo is starting to come back, slowly but it is getting better. I'm looking for .22lr I anyone knows of any. I will be posting on here as I see ammo so keep checking back.

Those 1000rd Federal loose bulk cases after tax comes to about 43ยข/rd is pretty decent locally. The Federal xm193 @ $10.47 is a little high, but hey it's there if really needed.
