We have a prototype for the M&P 9mm 17 round magazine made and hope to list blocks for sale soon. The M&P magazines have been very difficult to design a limiter for due to the spring and follower configuration.

We are working on those too. Should have a block out soon. Just trying to get a Gen M3 20 round magazine for testing.

If I purchase these for use with my 30rd pmag gen 3 "rebuild kits" and then throw away/destroy the original springs they'll be permanently limited to 10 rounds? Safe enough to be considered legal?

What spring did you plan on using then in the modified magazine? The magblock simply replaces the staock floorplate of the Pmag and goes into the stock spring.

Right, that's what I meant. Throw away the stock floor plate.

Do most people epoxy the spring in place? Surely that's the only way to make it permanent?

It's a personal choice some do others do not. I epoxied the spring to the magblock and left the floor plate able to be removed for cleaning.

Nothing nothing nothing is "permanent". I have & can undo in minutes any "permanent" method: rivets, epoxy, silicon, blind pins. Undone them all. I put ranger plates on all my mags & those need a tool to remove get up into the release hole & that's as far as I go as nothing is permanent and any 1 method is as arbitrary as another.

We may in the future, but prefer to start with original factory magazines, unless they are hard to find. We are a few weeks behind on custom block orders right now.
