Finished another little project. Aquired a Savage 4C a few weeks back. Installed a new rear sight & put a couple coats of Tung oil Finish on it. Selling it to my buddy for $75. I bought his SMLE earlier this year for $105. He has kids to train!

This .22 weighs as much as my friend's Remington .308. Gotta love good raw materials.

Just figured out that it has an adjustable trigger. Wow. I cannot believe they don't produce this model anymore.

The strikes outside of the shoot-n-see's were from dialing in. Once it hit "x" on the nose, I started shooting the pasties. 50 yards.

Here is a slightly out of date picture of most of my C & R long guns. I've added a 1898 Krag, a Winchester M1 Garand and 5 Chinese SKS rifles since the picture was taken.

.

Two H&R single-shot break-action shotguns. Top is a 28" full-choked barrel 20 ga. Bottom is a cut-to-20" with the original brass bead reinstalled 12 ga. Both, coincidentally, were made in 1940.

Please ignore the Winchester Model 63 at top of this image; it is of recent manufacture, taking it out of C&R status (the Model 63 was made from the early 1930s [for the 22 long rifle rimfire cartridge] to the late 1950s)

Below that is my latest acquisition; a 1922-made Winchester 94 saddle-ring carbine in .30 Winchester Center Fire (.30-30).

:-)

This would be a .357 Magnum (a pre-27) from about 1953 with matching stocks and box and dox:

It's a Model of 1950 Target .45 (pre-26). 1953, and the moon clips are required.

It's a .357 Magnum (a pre-27) with a 8 3/8" barrel. It's a 4-screw (1958) also with "Cokes".
