Default Any Ranges In The Bay That Allow Rapid Fire?

I know there's at least one in Sacramento, and obviously there is BLM land. But I don't want to drive a combined 4 hours for 1 hour of shooting.

Dublin Guns Fishing and Other Stuff. They’re pretty cool about it. Rapid double taps etc ok. Just no mag dumps.

Does Reed's allow AR-15s? The Gun Range in Sacramento allows mag dumps, allows AR-15s, and allows FMJ ammo (unlike the San Leandro range). But it's quite a drive, unfortunately. I really want to empty a D60 drum as fast as I can and enjoy some freedom.

Damn. Looks like I'll have to drive for many hours just to do a D-60 mag dump.

patience. I'm sure it will only take a couple for you to "get over it", and you can roll into the joy of just using your magazine normally.

Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely go there eventually. And I always pick up after myself.

What BLM land in the Bay Area is still open? I was told that everything in the area is closed due to fire season.

Not quite Bay Area, but I almost exclusively go to Camp 9 in lieu of all the range closures.

You session should be at least twice the length of the drive. Plan out a four hour session. Take steel and rig up a moving target. Make sure to go with a friend for assistance and safety.

I’m pretty sure the range at reeds is actually capable of allowing centerfire long gun, they just don’t for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is wear & tear/maintenance to the backstop.

I get to shoot on my cousin’s land in a rural part of American Canyon where anything goes! Mag dump anything you want, shoot akimbo, gangster style, 3-gun practice, etc... We just have to let the Napa county SD know were going out there ahead of time so they won’t send every law enforcement agency in the area if someone reports rapid fire gunshots (ask me how I know...). Best part is since I moved to Solano county, I only live 10 min away!

Yeh, The Gun Range is great place to test reliability. Man, it?s a drive but they don?t have a time limit on your range time anyways. I think I?ve stayed there for 5-6 hours a couple times before (bring water bottles and beefy jerky sticks); and they didn?t mind. I usually stay for about 3-4 hours whenever I?m there to make the trip worth it.

I do notice most Bay Area outdoor or indoor ranges tend to have a one shot per however many seconds rule. The little more lenient ones allow double taps.
