Wow! I have always been a Ruger guy, but after seeing all of these I am thinking I need to give the Buck Mark a try after all! Any suggestions on which model for plinking and varmint?

Camper is the base and it's still a great choice. I have the URX which is more accurate than I am, I'd like to swap the front sight for a fiber optic one. If you want to varmint hunt a railed one might be a good choice for a red dot or low-power scope.

Where'd you get the Buck Mark OD Green grips and black trigger (mine has a gold trigger)? Or did you just paint them yourself?

I apologize for the crappy pic
I love it. I really have been into pistols with scopes lately. How does it shoot? Does that scope make it awkward?

Still ONE of my favorite handguns to shoot. Many many rounds and no issues thus far.

My wife just picked up her new to her Buckmark. We added some rosewood Altamont grips. She wanted an all steel pistol that she could have wood grips on. We found this at a local shop for $250 and then ordered the grips for $45. Everything else is stock from 1998.

Aluminum is close enough. She just didn't want a polymer pistol.

Might as well update, mine is still working flawlessly with several thousand rounds through it. Keep it clean and it hits it's target. Great pistol.

My wife just got her Buck Mark out of jail last night. We rented one and both loved the feel, so we stepped to the counter and purchased. Can't wait to get out and shoot it. Gonna have to wait until I find some decent priced ammo in stock...well, actually, I will likely pay the 20 cents/rnd at the range so I can get some time with her.

This is our first handgun we've owned. Also picked up a Ruger KGP141 from jail last night. Been looking to get a .22 and .357 handgun for sometime now, just finally able to justify the expense.

Anyone know where these mods on top of the barrel and the small piece below could get bought? Really like the look

They do make some in red but I think they're shorter. Have you check out Tactical Solutions web site?

You had to ask......These barrels are no longer made by T.S. and I can't believe I even found this one. I was a a gun store n Elk Gove, I started asking for this and that and threw out do you have a fluted 7'" T.S. barrel for a Buckmark.

The fellow behind the counter says I think we do have me (I say to myself, BS). He brings in to me! it's in a old package with about an inch of dust on it, it has an old as orange price tag listed at $199 (they retail for $299 last time I checked), I asked if he would take a few bucks off seeing how long it's been sitting there and he gives me another 10% off. The replacement barrels now call Pac-Lite are retailing for $370 and they are only about fluted about 1/2 way down the barrel.

I was so happy I wanted to Robo Cop right out of the front door!

Triple
